I don't know about you, but when a genius hokage battles a 14 to 16 year old kid he is not expected to lose. When an uchiha with an op ST jutsu battles an uchiha who has a lower level dojutsu (MS to 3T) and who is 16 years younger, he isn't expected to lose either.

Hebi Sasuke and FTG is not comparable with FTG being an instant transportation. You would have to compare FTG to Ameno, which can can arguably faster, but less reliable.

Everybody has a base mode. Its not like relying more or less on it gives you any major credit though, since it is very relative.
