There is a clear difference though. One is done by a author who did his manga for 15 years. The other is done by someone who is trying to continue a work thats gone on for 15 years.
Expecting others to like it is illogical.
Kishi did it for 15 years, but the first 20-30 chapters his artwork was continually improving and he didn't really hit his stride artistically until the first year was over. You have to tamper expectations for the first year of Boruto's serialization. He might have been Kishi's assistant, but from what I've read Kishi did 90% of the work on his manga and let his assistants handle small stuff like backgrounds.
