The Hate For The Boruto Manga Art Is Misplaced

There is a clear difference though. One is done by a author who did his manga for 15 years. The other is done by someone who is trying to continue a work thats gone on for 15 years.

Expecting others to like it is illogical.

Kishi did it for 15 years, but the first 20-30 chapters his artwork was continually improving and he didn't really hit his stride artistically until the first year was over. You have to tamper expectations for the first year of Boruto's serialization. He might have been Kishi's assistant, but from what I've read Kishi did 90% of the work on his manga and let his assistants handle small stuff like backgrounds.

This was Kishi's own original manga. Thats why people had enough patience to wait. This is not Ikemoto's original manga hence why people don't have patience to wait. You are comparing two different instances at the same time which is wrong.

If this was Ikemoto's own original work I doubt people would care for his art. Because the brand he would be showcasing would be his own not a continuation of Kishi's.

You just refuse to see any signs of improvement simply because you don't like the art style. Also trying to compare scenes from the movie animated by Pierrot and not drawn by Kishi with panels from Boruto manga. Not sure this is a good argument. This isn't about comparing scenes from the movie with the current manga. This is about how Kishi started Naruto and look how far he got. Same can be applied to Ikemoto. But if you want to keep insisting the art looks bad, go ahead. It's not mine or OP's fault that you simply don't like the art style and can't see any slight improvements over the last 6 chapters.

You know by now that this is a Japanese thing and the reason for this retelling is 1) some fans in Japan may not have seen the movie. 2) It would make sense to be adapted into manga form telling from where NG left off. The manga would be incomplete without movie content. I am no good in explaining this so you can ask Landon from NF and he will explain it you and 3) again would make sense so that the new artist can hone his skills once he starts a new arc after the movie.

Yes. Because the story is redundant. We've already seen it. There are no extra scenes or insight provided in the manga that was not in the movie. A movie which became available to own on dvd and blu-ray back in July. 2 months after the manga adaptation of the movie appeared in Shonen Jump.
