and other shinobis of the Sand were given a mission in Kirigaure where they were to assist in preventing the coup that was ongoing there. This all was about a year ago. Dokuga had no true sense of affiliation towards any village. He simply hanged around where he felt his ego, or obsessions, would be mostly satisfied. Places or situations where he could research, learn, test and/or find the results of unorthodox, unexpected or controversial/strange/unusual things was what he looked for. It could be anything, really... knowledge, events, ninjutsu or other things. There was nothing he looked forward to in Suna, so he remained in Kirigakure after the coup ended.

During his stay in Kirigakure, he got to hear more about the Ganmi clan, which he was born into, and got eagerly interested in what knowledge had been kept away from him all this time. His heightened sense of taste always came in handy, but how much more could he achieve if he was more aware of the clan?

Right now, he awaits the current clan head, Alice, on a training field not far from nature.

A soft silver breeze blew into the grounds, as a young face appeared into the location. Alice was quite busy today, having many of her clones scattered across the nations meeting the new Ganmi recruits, she finally made it to the last one. As she arrived into the the grounds she pulled out a file showing some information about this new member.

Heyo! Are you Dokuga Ganmi?

She questioned as she looked at his picture, obviously playing the fool for a bit. Might as well have some fun while she was at it.

Upon Alice's arrival, Dokuga faced towards her with a faint smile and as Alice got close enough, he nodded once as a sign of salutation and respect. He upheld eye contact. After she asked Dokuga about his name, Dokuga was about to affirm that the name she mentioned did indeed belong to him, but as he was about to speak, he interrupted himself and quickly reached to his pocket. What he took out was a card, a shinobi licence. He took the card and held it abruptly downwards and in front of himself as to have a look at his own card to check his own name, to which he saw "Dokuga Ganmi". So with a friendly smirk and a slightly raised eyebrow, Dokuga looked at Alice again, answering her as he put the card back into his pocket.

Yes ma'am. This name, indeed, belongs to me.

He didn't know if the way he responded would be looked at positively or negatively, but he just felt like doing it for the lolz.

" I see, well then shall we begin right away? Firstly I'd like you to give me a small background about what you know about our clan, our way of life. Who are we as the Ganmi?"

Alice said as she placed the paper back into her folder and putting it away into a scroll for future use.

Sorry, was away for a while.

Dokuga did not have detailed knowledge of the clan because he hasn't been much around other clanswomen and clansmen before, but what he did have was a large picture of what members of the clan were capable of in general. He brought up everything he knew and whatever his gut feeling lead him to say.

The clan initiated in the Land of Water and its members spread out across the world as years went by. Hmm... I'd like to think of our clan as an ambitious one, one that has all its members interested in having the capability of more or less influencing the decisions made in the villages which we reside in and the people we are surrounded by. As for our unique abilities, there are three that comes to mind. One: We have a heightened sense of taste, which allows us to even taste chakra in an accurate manner. Two: We are capable of placing people in illusions through their sense of taste and smell because of a toxin we release. How those illusions mainly stand out from other ones is because we can induce certain emotions that will end up restricting our targets' courses of action in various ways. Three: We can produce corrosive saliva... unfortunately I do not know much about it but I've been told that it is quite effective in order to get rid of biological elements.

Very good! I'll just expand a bit on our abilities for a moment. As you can tell already the Ganmi has a highly acute sense of taste. This taste is highly sensitive enough to allow us to even taste chakra , such to the point that we can even tell the difference between elemental natures, elements that make up for example a customized element or Kekkai Genkai. This is due to the taste maps on our tongues activating certain taste groups on when sensing a particular element. So let's say water release makes up A, C and D, our taste sensory maps will active these groups thus giving us the water release element indication. Our sensory actually doesn't only spread to chakra as we can taste non chakra related objects like the ingredients in a meal, the material used for objects etc. We can also tell how concentrated an object we are tasting is such as how acidic something is, so its really a unique tip to remember. You touched on yhr topic of corrosive saliva which is the Ganmi Arts known as Black Tongue Arts, and our prestigious illusions known as Ganmi Genjutsu. We will go over these s little later as your taste is lack luster. So! We will start with enhancing your taste sensory range, which will be required in order to learn more into the clan arts.

So firstly at this point, you can sense stuff at 50m away but youll need to be able to reach 120m to advance, so I settled down four objects to the north, south , east and west in containers. Your first task is to locate from right here, by advancing your sensory range and tell me what are in those four containers. Do your best!

Alice said as she waited.

OOC: The four objects are up to you, but make it nice and descriptive!

So there are four objects, each in a different container, and Dokuga was to locate them with his tongue sensory ability. After Alice finished speaking, he began.

"Ok, here goes...", he murmured to himself as he broke eye contact with Alice and looked slightly away from here. With a natural-looking almost-closed mouth, he calmly breathed through it as he perceived with his taste sensory most things in his surrounding with ease. He closed his eyes to solely rely on his taste sensory. Alice was clearly here, he could taste her chakra. As for his surrounding, Dokuga could pick up what the terrain was made of and its general shape due to the combination of tasting the components forming the ground and the ability to calculate the distance from which the taste comes from. But that's not what was important right now, his current task was to expand his taste sensory's reach beyond his close-by surrounding. Though he first made sure to pick up the taste of most significant things within 50 meters before trying to breach his current limit.

Starting off North, he tried to perceive beyond 50 meters. Now what Dokuga's taste buds received from varying taste groups did not make much sense to him at first since he couldn't quite interpret their combination yet. If his taste sensory was to be compared to his eyesight, it could be said that his vision was short-sighted because everything beyond 50m was "blurred". It took some time, but he progressively managed to interpret the combinations of taste groups to figure out what was beyond 50 meters North and he kept expanding his sensory's reach in order to find the container. In the meantime, as he kept on searching for the container at North, his taste buds got more adapted to perceive and interpret varying taste group from beyond 50m so it was now much easier for him to sense beyond 50m in an omnidirectional manner.

Finally, the North container was found. What was inside? Dokuga increased his concentration. A very fresh and somewhat cold sensation was received by his taste buds, rather savory. By the taste of it, Dokuga easily figured it was something edible, and with the combinations of those and some more detailed taste groups, he knew the answer.

"The North container has mint leaves inside. Perhaps we could make some mint tea after training", he jokingly added.

Moving on, searching for the East container wasn't as difficult this time. Dokuga could scout its location easier because he wouldn't need to put as much effort into expanding his taste sensing to perceive what was beyond 50m as before. Aaand there's the container, located behind one of many trees. What did this one have? The "shell" of what was inside gave a combination of taste groups that allowed Dokuga to recognise them as feathers. Though digging deeper into the center of it, the taste of saltiness was easily recognisable and with the combination of the varying taste groups, he figured it was soft meat. A bird. Judging by its movement, it seemed quite agitated.

The Eastern container seem to have a small-sized bird.

Diverting his attention towards the South, he expanded his taste sensory there. It took more time to locate the container this time, but when he did, he looked tasted(?) into it. The taste was rather strong and Dokuga disliked it. Still not knowing what it was he concentrated to decipher what taste groups it was made of. There was a high consistency of metallic taste, nothing else. As for its shape, it seemed to him rather thin but long aswell.

The South one has a some sort of metallic staff. Not sure if it is just a piece of metal or designed to be used as a weapon.

Now for the Western one. Dokuga was hoping for something tasteful. He expands his taste sensory to the West and eventually detects the last box. Dokuga concentrated to find out what it contained. Hmmm... he recognised the taste of citrus. Dokuga also picked up that it had both a sour and a sweet taste, balanced in a manner that made it enjoyable to taste. Their shape was round and there seemed to be plenty of them.

No doubt. The Western container has many oranges inside!

Great! That's some excellent taste you got there, pun intended. Now we will move onto the next portion of your training but also as of now you'll be treated as a Taester rank among of the clan. This will begin your introduction into the use of Ganmi Genjutsu, so first tell me how you think this is performed. I'll fill in the information for you later on as I demonstrate the clan arts to you.

Alice said as she channeled chakra into her throat - using her heightened sense of taste she released began to release a toxin - pheromone based into the air that begins to flood the nose of her clansmen as she prepared her technique.

Pun tasted, badum tss.

Genjutsu! Splendid. Well, from what I know... *Dokuga perceives something being released from Alice and towards him, but decides to continue* our clan's illusionary techniques are triggered into the target's brain by using their sense of taste and smell as a medium. We basically release some toxins to which we give a certain taste, making it so our target will perceive that flavour with those two senses. Upon doing so and once they taste/smell the flavour, with our toxins reaching their brain, they'd fall prey to our illusion. I believe we can also instill certain emotions to our target that would push them into being more likely to behave or perform certain actions more than others.

Dokuga wasn't sure if his last sentence was actually part of Alice's question, but he mentioned it nonetheless, just in case.

Splendid indeed, but allow me to explain a bit. As you may notice like I did just now, I'm channeling chakra into my mouth and then passively release this toxin into the air. I control it , and move it towards you but the effect isn't immediate.

There are several components within the Ganmi Genjutsu - Fundamental Effect, Primary Effect, Secondary Effect and last but not least is the After Taste.

A brief explanation of each would be:

Fundamental Effect - Flavor

These deal with the main body of the Gamni Toxin and it is used to modulate the taste in order to get the whole variety of flavors possible. This allows the user to mimic any taste, and is used to give certain hues of flavor to every technique, or simply be used to create more diverse and realistic flavors. In essence, it means any genjutsu cast by a Ganmi can have a different perceived flavor, apart from the illusion the toxin triggers. This flavor will stay present throughout the duration of the illusion and cannot be hidden or masked by the illusion itself; its the trigger, the signature but also the weakness of the skill.

Primary Effect - Illusion

This is the illusion triggered by the Toxin. It works similarly to any normal Genjutsu, where the chakra, carried and inserted by the pheromone-based toxin, is absorbed by the Taste and Smell receptors of the target and carried on to the brain, where they will disturb the chakra system and create an illusion, following the rules of Genjutsu. These do not necessarily pertain to Taste-based illusions, they can be as diverse as normal Genjutsu in terms of effects.

Secondary Effect - Emotion

This is essentially the difference between Ganmi Genjutsu and normal Genjutsu, as the pheromones , unlike other Genjutsu, can infuse the target with different Emotions, varying in degree, that will condition the target when perceiving the Illusion.

After-Taste

This is the remnant of the Ganmi Genjutsu after it is countered. For twice as long as the Ganmi Genjutsu was in place, the target will still experience the fundamental flavor that triggered the technique. This will mean that the target will taste that (bitter, sweet, etc) despite being out of the illusion which in turn will prevent him from tasting any other Ganmi Genjutsu within that time frame.

If you have no further questions, let us begin with the first technique of our clan arts -Harvest.

Alice said as she moved her hands together in order to weave a single hand seal, this would place a simple illusion onto her student, such a ravishing aroma flooded his mind , ad his gaze upon the grass swirled his eyes. They shifted , almost like a dance as they turned into dark chocolate bars, pulling at your leg with such an attempting aroma as Dokuga felt truw utter bliss just from the sight and scent of the grass.

In Harvest, you can change how they perceive their surroundings, without being able to change how they perceive themselves or other beings. Change the walls to wood, change the woods to desert, and change a dessert into a statue. Those are the types of changes you can do - to which now, before you do the same I'd like you to tell me what emotion you felt. Then I'd like you to do the same for me - pick two emotions to embed into your two usages.

No more questions.

As the illusion claimed Dokuga's mind, he instinctively crouched towards the ground while staring at what now seemed as chocolate. Inhaling deeply from his nostrils to enjoy that aroma, he considered pulling few strands of grass to taste them. The chocolate aroma, by itself, made him feel joy. Once the illusion wore off, he stood up again to answer Alice. He was now reassured that Ganmi illusions did, indeed, really stand out with the emotional effects they provide.

I felt calm and rather comfortable... oh, and a joyous sensation.

Dokuga channeled chakra into his throat then released the pheromone-based toxin into the air to flood Alice's nose. He spoke after some time passed by.

May I?

With this, Dokuga performed 4 hand seals and placed Alice in an illusion where her senses would lead her to believe that her surrounding grass froze in an upright manner and became ice that was as sharp as thin needles that would pierce the feet of those who attempt to walk over them. An ice-cold air would emanate from the seemingly affected ground. The chosen emotion that would be included into this illusion was the emotion of fear to further reduce the likelihood of movement from Alice.

Dokuga dispels the illusion after a rather short time then waits for the pheromone-based toxin to wear off. Once enough time has passed, he once again released pheromone-based toxin into the air to flood Alice's nose and waited for few moments before casting another illusion.

Now, performing 4 hand seals once again, Dokuga placed Alice in another illusion. This time, Dokuga made it so Alice's sense of sight and hearing would falsely perceive a nearby tree's trunk, to Alice's right, getting personified as it continuously releases annoying-to-hear noises of a bad stomach. The trunk has a very unattractive face expression with an opened mouth. Soon after personification, it makes a loud vomiting noise as countless slimy small creatures of earth exits the trunk's mouth to then spread out towards Alice. The emotion of disgust was applied to this illusion to increase the likelihood of Alice avoiding the direction of the illusionary tree and small creatures.

The illusion is dispelled by Dokuga right before the small illusionary creatures would've reached Alice.

(Ganmi Genjutsu: Mihoufu ⋓ Minori ) Taste Illusionary Arts: Fruitful Bounty ⋓ Harvest
Type: Supplementary/Offensive
Rank: D-S
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra Points: 10-40
Damage Points: 20-80
Description: Harvest is one of the basic applications of the Ganmi Genjutsu. It is versatile in terms of effects and chakra cost in order to cover a wide range of applications, as well as accompany the user in terms of hierarchy within the clan, with lower clansmen having access to lesser ranks. Here, the user will use the Primary Taste of the Illusion to change how the opponents perceives the world around them with the 5 basic senses, similar to False Surroundings. It does not change how the targets see people, animals, or even themselves, only creates or alters terrains, and inanimate objects or beings. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel their surroundings, or how the surroundings make the opponents feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotions, as stated in clan's description. They fall under one of 5 category:
• Anger: The changes done to the terrain will be perceived negatively. This is usually meant to create a decoy of focus onto the surroundings, rather than entities within the battlefield. The target will chase after the terrain or target the terrain or a specific inanimate object. Ex: Create a red curtain behind the opponent, which will prompt him to direct his attacks at the curtain. A wall created with this will be a target to destroy, not to avoid.
• Disgust: This is meant to guide the target away from the terrain creations, and guide them into a specific place or just make them lose focus on their surroundings or specific directions. The target will be disgusted by the terrain constructions and move away from it. Ex: Create a wall of mucus that will prompt the target to move away from it, or go around it, not targeting it but rather avoiding it.
• Fear: This is meant to paralyze or make a person suspect of the terrain changed. The object of the illusion will cause great fear upon the target. Ex: Create a black wall that will seem too big, too imposing, too insurmountable for the opponent to destroy or evade, or do anything but stare at it.
• Happiness: This is meant to calm and attract the target to the terrain feature. This could attrack someone into it, or guide them in this way. Ex: Create a yellow pillar which the target will focus on and travel to, rather than avoiding or wanting to destroy.
• Sadness: This is meant to remove the will of the opponent into doing anything. The terrain will elicit more extreme action of either defend from it or attack it. Ex: Create a blue wall that saddens the opponent, making him sad and exhausted and prompt him to do something gratifying, either destroy it or hide from it.

A person targeted by this technique can still perceive damage from the surroundings, being constricted or even cut, but only as external damage. Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the terrain, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Non-Genjutsu usages make, for example, trees appear darker or lighter, depending on the tone of the emotion, but can't be considered anything but premature Genjutsu. The rank of the user and the opponent play crucial point. Rather than wanting to move away or towards something, one can feel just an hesitation or a unforcefull will to go that can be ignored, if the difference is too big and the opponent too strong.

The user is required to describe a spread of toxins through the air 1 turn before he/she is able to perform this technique, or have had an active Saliva technique in the previous turn within 10 meters range of the target(s).
Taester require 4 handseals in order to cast this technique. They can only use it up to C rank. Biiter require the same number of handseals but can use up to B rank. Savor require 3 handseals and can use it up to A rank. Paladar require 2 handseals and can use it up to S rank. A Flavoron Paladar and the Candymaker require only 1 handseal.
Having Genjutsu as the Primary Specialty allows the user to shave 1 handseal from the total required.*
All the inherent restrictions of the Clan apply to this technique.

Buenos, that was quite enjoyable...to some extent, the emotions being Fear and Disgust however there are some key things I will go a bit futher in depth with in another conversation(OCC). Alright then at your current rank you're only able to cast them up to C rank but eventually you'll learn! Now then we shall move into the second basic genjutsu of the clan - Banquet. This one is a technique truly defining a future master to a novice of the arts. Banquet only creates or alters people or animals, and any techniques other people or the illusionary people use. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel about others or thrown techniques. So this one doesn't directly pertain to yourself in the mix - that exists in the last one. Allow me to show you.

She said as a single hand seal was weaved, but it's as though...a second copy of Alice branches off of her - elegant yet fierce , her boots crunching in the ground , echoing vibrantly across the grassy terrain. Her steps was quite heavy - too heavy in fact as wicked mahgony branches erupted from the base of her feet faster than your eyes could perceive as they , lustfully ragged and rupture your brain - blinded to the outside world...such an alluring but perfected fear ran down the very spine you felt the embrace of this ominous technique.

Alice simply stood there, her breathing antagonizing your very ears - loudly yet so dark and monotone.

OCC: your turn, two emotions

What a scary woman, not even mercy during lessons. Dokuga just might get mentally unstable by the time training would be over.

Once he picked himself up again, he passively released pheromone to Alice's nostrils as he made a real shadow clone of himself. After some time, Dokuga performed the needed hand seals to place Alice under a Ganmi illusion where her perception of the elemental techniques that Dokuga's clone would release would be altered, making them seem as though they are a different element: the element which is strong to it. The clone would spew a stream of fire closeby Alice's direction, but still away from her as to not harm her. Instead of this stream of fire seeming to be the way it is, the Ganmi illusion would make it so Alice would perceive it as water: not too bright for the eyes and seemingly emanating cold instead of heat as it passed closeby her. This Ganmi illusion is coupled with the feeling of happiness as to prompt Alice to approach it. Yet, the clone would immediately cancel the technique if Alice were to actually get too close. After this the clone poofed away.

Something like that would be nice with summoning animals...

Now as some time went by, Dokuga would once again release pheromone towards Alice and proceed with his next illusion after some time. After a couple of hand seals, he would alter Alice's perception of Dokuga making it seem as though Dokuga suddenly began running to the right in an arc-like trajectory around her while in reality he would be doing the same as his illusionary self, but to the left. He coupled this illusion with the emotion of anger towards his illusionary self in an attempt to prompt Alice to attack the illusion.

Great! Now then, since its starting to become rather tedious teaching you all of them I'll simply hand you over the scroll for the last technique as well. Use the clan genjutsu wisely friend.

Now then we move onto the last and final set if techniques, which is an introduction into Saliva Manipulation. At this point in time you simply aren't ready yet so we will start with expanding your range once more. In the same directions as before four items remain inside of them so please do me a favor and sense them out. They are 300 meters away from our location; have fun!

Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the other beings, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Non-Genjutsu usages make, for example, animals appear darker or lighter, depending on the tone of the emotion, but can't be considered anything but premature Genjutsu.

Description: Indulgence is one of the basic applications of the Ganmi Genjutsu. It is versatile in terms of effects and chakra cost in order to cover a wide range of applications, as well as accompany the user in terms of hierarchy within the clan, with lower clansmen having access to lesser ranks. Here, the user will use the Primary Taste of the Illusion to change how the opponents perceive themselves, based on the 5 basic senses, similar to The Voodoo of the Headless Chicken. They fall under one of 5 category:
• Anger: The changes done to himself will be perceived negatively. This is usually meant to create a decoy of focus that change or body part, and make the target want to destroy it. Ex: Create a reptile skin on someone's hands which will make them want to destroy it, and, with it, the hand itself.
• Disgust: This is meant to guide the target away from the change. The user will not want to use the body part or focus on it. Ex: Create blisters on someone's hand, preventing them from wanting to use the to make handseals or hand gestures.
• Fear: This is meant to paralyze or make a person suspect of the changed body part. The object of the illusion will cause great fear upon the target. Ex: Turn their feet into demons that will scare the target into paralysis.
• Happiness: This is meant to calm and attract the target to the terrain feature. This could attract someone into it, or guide them in this way. Ex: Make someone's hands into a strawberry cheesecake, so yummy, making them want to eat their hands.
• Sadness: This is meant to remove the will of the opponent into doing anything. The body part will elicit more extreme of either defend from it or attack it. Ex: The user's eyes are blind, what's the point of even seeing or doing anything?

It does not change how the targets see other people, animals, or even the terrain only creates or alters body parts, and techniques used by the target. The Secondary Taste allows the user to alter the way the opponents feel about themselves and their techniques, or how certain parts or his techniques make them feel, based on the 5 basic Ganmi Emotions, as stated in clan's description. A person targeted by this technique can still perceive damage, being constricted or even cut, by altering the body directly or by using the opponent's techniques against him, within the illusion. Given the different method of casting, and the additional properties, a clansmen, especially newly started, does not require Genjutsu in order to use this technique though Genjutsu is required to use it to it's fullest potential. Without Genjutsu knowledge, the user will be able to attach an emotion to an aspect of the target, without actually creating a complex Primary Taste illusion, which requires Genjutsu mastery. Oooh, splendid. I shall use them wisely *chuckles*.

He did it once. Surely, he could do it again. Dokuga decides to train on expanding his taste sensory's range while remaining seated, cross-legged. Using his tongue's current capabilities he perceived with ease the 4 initial containers which he had to find during his previous sensory expansion training. Now he had to find those that were 300 meters away. He puts effor into perceiving further beyond. The sheer amount of distance he had sensed through really worked him up, but not to exhaustion. Dokuga gave it more time before he could pick up more detailed information of what there was in such far distance, not to mention, inside a container. When he found the container and managed to taste what was inside, he almost barfed. Rotten raw chicken. He could tell by the particularly potent taste of sourness it emitted which stood out compared to fresh chicken.

North, rotten chicken... "have fun", she said >_>, he mumbled.

Well... what a great start. He moved on, diverting his taste sensory to the East. There, he quickly managed to perceive the container which had the bird inside, then further expanded his taste to reach about 300 meters where the next container should be. Expanding his taste sensory wasn't as exhausting compared to the first time and when he eventually perceived the cubic shape of the container, he concentrated on what was inside. Whatever it was, there was plenty of it. This particular balance in sweetness and acidity, hmm... Dokuga came to the conclusion that those must be strawberries.

Strawberries to the East!

It gradually got easier to perceive what there was 300 meters away. So rather slow-paced, yet quicker than before, Dokuga's taste sensory managed to reach the far southern container. Judging by its fluidity, that one contained a liquid. Although quite different than all previous things inside the other containers, this one was almost tasteless. An explanation of this could be that it was something his tongue was quite adapted to, though it gave the feeling of being more intense than what his tongue was adapted to. Dokuga guessed...

The southern seems like water...

That last one was also easier to reach. Dokuga's "taste trajectory" got smoother for each container for which he analyzed its content. Once the last container had been located, Dokuga pushed inside to taste what there was. To his surprise, the far western container had an identical taste as the first western container that he analyzed during his Bud-Taester phase. Many roundly shaped objects with the taste of citrus emanating from them alongside a pleasurable balance between sweetness and sourness. Oranges again.

The far western container has oranges, just like the first western one.

Very good! As of right now you shall be considered a Biiter among the Ganmi. With that said and done we will move onto the next session which would be Saliva Manipulation. So among the clan we have the ability to control the natural PH balance of our Saliva in our mouths. Normally it would be a simple weak acid but with our enhanced sense of taste,we can make it far more acidic to the touch.

So the first part of our training is for you to learn and how to harness the power. So first I want you to channel chakra into your mouth, and into the existing saliva. Using your chakra, I want you to seize control of the saliva and once ready; turn towards the wall over there and release it as a gloube of saliva or a splattered stream. Really easy no?

Alice said with a smile on her face, she would knead her chakra into her saliva, and turning into the wall - she molded the shape of it and increasing the PH levels of the saliva she unleashed it towards the wall. It looked like a simple water technique but should it hit organic matter...oh boy.

Description: Nectar is the most basic application of the Black Tongue Techniques. Because it’s intimately connected with the basic element Water, in behavior, weaknesses and strengths, the primary purpose of this technique is to describe and adapt Ganmi’s corrosive Saliva to any known Water Techniques that are or can be spat from the mouth. Through this technique, the user will activate the salivary glands and infuse them with chakra, spitting out any amount of saliva and then modelling it after a known spat Water Technique. The user pulls from the mouth, instead of the gut, but the saliva will follow everything else about the original water technique that is being adapted, including handseals and restrictions. While intimately related to water, a clansmen doesn’t necessarily require the water element to use this basic technique, though becomes severely restricted by the lack of it. For non-water users, this technique can be merely used as an A rank blast of saliva, that can take the form of a thin stream or a scattered splash. It costs 30 chakra points and deals 60 damage points.
*Water users will need to post this technique alongside the desired water technique; it will not count as a move despite requiring more chakra than the water technique original requires*

OOC: As a new rank within the clan; you get new benefits of course. Your sensing now reaches up to 300 meters, and can use the clan Genjutsu up to B -rank now.

The student listened to Alice's instructions and observed how she performed a technique that used saliva manipulation. Quite interesting, Dokuga liked the fact that a saliva technique did not seem to have a visual difference compared to a water technique. But by using his taste sensory to perceive the technique that Alice had released, he indeed realized its potential lethality judging by the level of acidity it contained. And now it's his turn...

"It shall be done", Dokuga nodded.

The apprentice turned towards the wall then tried to figure out how he should proceed with this. He'd usually gather the water from deeper than just his mouth, usually throat or even stomach area. But for saliva, it would have to be from the mouth, more precisely, the glands. There was already some saliva in his mouth so he began by blending in some chakra into it so that he may increase its acidity. Then to produce more saliva, he gathered a small portion of chakra onto the glands that produced saliva in his mouth, inducing them to release more of it. Dokuga continuously blended chakra into the newly produced saliva, making it significantly more acidic. If it weren't for his own chakra coating this acidic saliva, it would've harmed Dokuga's teeth.

At last, once he had enough gathered in his mouth, Dokuga spat it out in the form of a globe-like projectile thanks to shape manipulation in a similar fashion as one would with an average water bullet technique spat from the mouth. The globe of saliva launched out at a decent speed before it crashed on the wall, splashing across it.

"Now I can legit affect the results of a fight by spitting on people...", Dokuga jokingly thought to himself.

Good! Now this technique is realllly important as its the general creation technique of our clan. If you have the water release affinity - you are able to actually use this as a medium to sort of...convert your water techniques into saliva based ninjutsu. Something like this…

She stopped for a moment to look into the distance; Alice placed her hand together as she weaved the needed hand seal with that spewed outwards towards the opposite direction a sharp bullet of water. The bullet of water would easily cut through the stone near by as it collided with it. Alice then turns back towards him with a smile and began to wonder what her other students was up to.

See? Like that, now for the final technique of the basic clan techniques. This one is a personal creation of my own along side my sensei Lima. So what I want you to do is manipulate the saliva in your mouth with chakra. Using shape manipulation -- Id like you to create a syphon from it. Ill send an attack towards and with that - use the syphon to virtually break down the chakra and “eat” it. Sounds cool huh? Let’s try it!

Dokuga kept an appropriate composure all the time until Alice turned away to demonstrate the usage of "Nectar". The moment she turned away, the noob's eyes sparkled and he excitedly clapped in awe to Alice's demonstration of "Nectar"... but immediately returned back to his calm self the moment Alice faced him again. Kinda awkward the moment he'd realize that she would've perceived it all, so he raised his thumbs up with clenched fists as to express that he appreciated the demonstration.

That's a really interesting application of saliva.

After a brief explanation of the next technique, Dokuga kinda got the gist of it and prepared to execute it. The fireball approached. He had already learned how to increase his saliva's acidity through the use of "Nectar", so he simply gathered chakra-enhanced, acid-heavy saliva which he further shaped to act like a siphon in his mouth and added with the act of inhaling to accelerate the process. The way he executed this technique was by combining the concept of siphoning and chakra absorption to attract this foreign technique (fireball) once it got close enough as well as the concept of enhanced corrosion by the saliva to break down the fireball into chakra that then got devoured by Dokuga. He broke a sweat. It wasn't something he thought he'd ever do... eating fire.

Good! It’s a really crafty technique that no one really expects from us. Well, I’m afraid that brings an end to our training session. You have learnt all the basic clan techniques, though I must leave you with a little parting gift.

She says as she places her hand onto the forehead of her student, embedding her chakra into his tongue through the physical contact and thus unlocking more potential of the Ganmi clan. Alice would smile and begin to walk away as she faded into an array of Doves, looking back at her student.

That was the final gift, you are now a Savor of the clan. This means your sensory range has increased to that of 500 meters, and for certain techniques you can use the Ganmi Illusions up to A rank and Dulce De Leche as well up to A rank. Eventually Ill give you a mission for a Paladar Rank up, till then see yeah!

Her voice echoed into the area.

Rank: C- S
Type: Offensive/Supplementary/Defensive
Range: Short – Long
Chakra Cost: 15-40
Damage Points: N/A
Description : This technique encompasses the one of the most complex techniques within the clan, making use of the user's Taste senses and Saliva manipulation, by taking the enemies techniques and actually “eating” the chakra of the technique, digesting it and turning the neutralized chakra into saliva, which the user can then shoot out back at the opponent. The user will inhale, manipulating their Saliva glands to create a syphon of chakra-filled saliva that is connected towards the user’s mouth. The syphon, through shape manipulation and its corrosive properties, will takeover the enemies technique and begin to dissolve chakra located inside of the technique, actually breaking it down, as user draws the technique inside their gullets, “eating” the weakened and now harmless chakra. The technique can also be used on techniques that are in direct contact with user by simply biting the technique or siphoning it in, with the Saliva and repeating the process but much quicker. This siphon and digestion of chakra can only happen in situations where the saliva technique, with it's described S&W, is capable of neutralizing ( equal ) or overpowering ( stronger ) the targetted technique.

When the user is capable of neutralizing the technique, the user will simply eat the chakra and metabolize it into their own chakra resources, in an ammount equal to the technique eaten. When the user is capable of overpowering the technique, then the full amount of chakra dissolved will be converted into damage, 1:2 ratio, sending back a blast of corrosive saliva at the opponent. The end technique is a Saliva technique.

*Siphon is short-range, while the blast can reach up to Mid-Range ( Savors and bellow ) or Long-Range ( Paladar and above ).
*Can only be used 5 times and requires 1 turn cooldown before using again. Savours can use the technique up to A-Rank, rest of the lower ranks can use the technique up to B-Rank. S-Rank can only be used by Paladars and above and once used renders the technique only usable one more time.
