Can Itachi really defeat Minato ?

As a Itachi fan myself, i don't see that happening. Here's why:

• Minato can't be put under genjutsu since he has ftg. The teleportation is just too quick for him to fall under it logically, hence why Tobi didn't bother using it during the death match.

• Secondly, Minato's reflexes are on point. During the fight, tobi attacked Minato on point blank range and as you can see in this gif, the only reason that Obito escaped Minato's attack was thanks to his space time technique:

• Okay, now that i've cleared that out, i want to emphasize on two key techniques that Minato possess. One of them being a space time barrier. But i'm going to expound more about the use of Hiraishin in this. Theoretically, there are two possibilities where Minato could mark Itachi. The first could be during hand to hand combat and second could be planted by ground ambush, where the feet are exposed. Once it has been exposed to an opponent's skin, basically they are just puppets bind by strings.

• Once Itachi has been marked, Minato can simply toy with Itachi using ftg, until Itachi gets serious that is. You might say totsuka gg or whatevr, but this is where the teleportation barrier comes in place if an event like that were to happen. It will simply absorb the attack and minato could redirect it towards Itachi under the impression that he was marked by Minato. It will be in an blink of an eye. We've seen Minato under a similar situation, but with a far worse opponent - the Kyuubi. He has sent Bijuu Damas to further places and the Bijuu Dama is regarded as the most heaviest/densest attack on nv. Fact:

First thing obito was a kid if it was the same obito that slaughtered uchiha i am sure he could kill minato and i don't think obito is more adapt in genjutsu than Itachi when he fought him and what ever this mark ****ing thing we will think about it when minato was able to mark him on the first hand the only time that minato cannot be caught in itachi's genjutsu was when he completely fights with eyes closed or if he follows might guy tactics of not looking in his because he can only teleport that makes him mobility fast not agility where he can make a million kicks in a second like guy in his eighth gates and have super fast lightning senses like sharingan users. Itachi solos minato may be very high difficulty but ITACHI can, man even Killer Bee was able to corner this guy don't know why people overhype him like he is goku

I'll give you a simple example. Let say Minato places 30 ftg kunai (evenly spaced) and it covers abt 10 km or more. Given that area, isn't it logical to assume that he has access to all those places to evade during a genjutsu attempt within a second ? Let Alone all the places that he marked in the regions of NV. He needs to do nothing but teleport and avoid eye contact, to eventually hatch up a plan as he is one of the few elite on field/long term battle strategist. Added to this, Shadow CLones. Nope because even vs Obito he looked him dead in the eye's. Vs Itachi if he do that it's GG because Itachi will Tsukuyomi him before he even know even though he's a sensory ninja he have to be in that mode to know he's going to cast it. Minato can't and won't use FTG to evade it if he doesn't know it's coming nor would he waste kunai just to do it.
