) do you guys have to be OCs if you wish to RP or can you take an already canon character?
A good example is that I would love to do Sabaku no Gaara but i do not know if i am allowed to claim him or not, would that be okay if i do role-play Gaara?

I think Naruto characters are free to claim, but the custom ones from other Animes aren't. But I'm just a noname, dont ask me

Thank you since i do not wish to claim a character and I get in trouble since I've been RPing Gaara a lot and I enjoy it (along with cosplaying him), and I would like to RP him here but i wasn't sure, I know I most likely have to put a bio and all but i just haven't been here in ages

I quickly went through the bio rules. It says that you have to get permission on custom bios, but canon characters, in this case Gaara, doesn't need permission. Go for it.

Gaara bios aren't able to be made atm unless you are testing for the Bijuu he has, which requires one to have full basic training and special permission.

okay thank you, i was not planning on having the bijū in Gaara since i was going to do it after the great ninja war but before boruto if that is okay
