Because Preta being able to fully absorb something like PS would fall under the no limits fallacy. Basically if its too far out there and there are no feats to show it could reach that level than its not possible until we see it happen.

Another thing is when would Preta be able to absorb PS when once it unleashes its assault Preta is dead.

Perfect Susanoo has never been absorbed even though there was multiple times for it to be absorbed.

Nagato could have absorbed it.
Kaguya could have absorbed it.

Perfect Susanoo can't be absorbed period.
Nagato never encountered PS and he was blind sided when Itachi struck him. Susanoo is a manifestation of chakra so it's basically food for preta. But PS kills Nagato and he would still have to deal with impact.

There's no argument as to why Preta couldn't absorb PS. None whatsoever.
Understand how ridiculous this sounds. Yes, Preta Path can absorb chakra from Perfect Susano'o, but the chakra it would take (though Preta Path getting anywhere close to Perfect Susano'o is asinine) would be so minimal that it would be fruitless; futile. In addition, Susano'o users are capable of constantly funneling chakra throughout the technique, that whatever chakra Preta Path absorbs is replaced nigh immediately.

Preta Path's absorption rate is also nothing noteworthy, feat wise.

Preta can absorb it the "no limits fallacy" is not applicable to preta when its definition is defined to have no limits and a reasoning behind WHY it has no limits.

PS shits because its sword swing's force isn't chakra.
