I can see merit there, but let's assume she does manage to catch this version of Sasuke, then he simply gets out with his potent chakra and Sharingan. There is no way in hell Ino's fodder-tier chakra is trapping Sasuke.

I don't know if that's how it works. I'm pretty sure Jinchuuriki should be immune from it on the same logic to which Sakura apparently was, but I don't think the requirements to break out of it were never explicitly said, if it was a chakra matter or a power of will thing...regardless, Obito did break out of it fairly easily, and he was caught off guard, so there's definitely something to it.
