YT's style is definitely interesting to listen to, but from what I've heard, he hasn't said anything in his bars that wasn't already said by Wiz or Kanye (and no, not the thoughtful Kanye). There's just no challenge to Kendrick's complexity and depth. He raps better than Tupac, writes bars better than Em, tells stories better than Nas and he's never once bragged about how rich or how good a rapper he is (I think we can all agree "Control" was an isolated incident). The day he panders to the masses is the day hip-hip truly dies. Long Live King Kunta!
