Apparently Kendrick's career will get shat on by Young Thug.

So who's the better rapper?

Thug would murder Kendricks entire career with an album, kendrick is simply a inspirational rapper, he isn't about that life lmao

Why does it matter when Quality and substance of rap has nothing to do with who comes out on top these days. I disagree tho, there will always be love for real hip hop and rap

Clearly young thug is every area, lmao if you have to restore to bandwagon to prove your opinion then you're about as insecure as a ***** . Get over your edginess and cool-hippy wanna be ole "oh hiphop is dead" ass attitude and accept that Taste cannot be disproven.

Oh and Every single song done by young thug is a precious form of modern time masterpiece art-work that must be given credit for its revolutionary ideas

L....L, L, L, L. Who ever made that comment get's a bigger L than Meek Mill did in 2015. Mumble rappers like Thugger, future, and migos can't come at rappers with their music like Kendrick Lamar, or Cole, or even Drake (and OVO sweatshop affiliates), because they lack lyricism. Everyone saw what happened to Meek Mill, nobody wants that heat. Thugger might get more album sales (which I doubt for his last album), but he doesn't have the chops to even look in Kendrick Lamar's direction as an artist.

Prime example, yes I do admit it might be harder to initially decipher what he's say, but it actually doesn't take that much effort, don't make a comment on his lyricism if you're implying that you don't even understand him. That's illogical.

This album, and all his others. But this one especially shits on anything Young Thug has produced, and will produce ever in his life. EVER.

It's not illogical, its a joke. Any rapper who lacks annunciation in their music is categorized as a mumble rapper, doesn't mean they're automatically garbage. I'm a fan of future, and bump to Thugga from time to time. I'm just giving them a hard time because how everyone gives them a pass for putting in little effort into their lyrics.

Not the topic, who is better?
For one, I don't even feel as if they should be compared, simply because they explore different areas of the genre. Kendrick is motivational & has top notch lyrics, but overall he's a bore after a while.

Thugger has lyricism, albeit on a lower level & his music can sound drastically different which is more entertaining. He's subtly talked about issues yet he also explores the fun side of music. He's stuck to being himself, without being a mockery like lil yatchy/lil boat etc who are obviously trying too hard. Thug consistently manipulates words & their meanings & drops double & triple entendres on a regular basis.

Yes people may enjoy Kendrick more for lyricism but I'm going to say Thug is better, in my opinion, simply because he sacrifices a little lyricism for the trait of being enjoyable.

slime season trilogy > kendricks discog
Link me Young Thugs Top 3 best songs from your viewpoint, and I'll link you one song, that shits on them all.

If you even think Young Thug's upcoming, or past albums will reach this pinnacle you're delusional, and can't read into how deep Kendrick Lamar's lyricism actually goes. There's two layers, most times even more to the things he says.
