You can compare the damage they were doing to Momoshiki. And Sasuke's susanoo was being buffed by Naruto's power. At that moment they were fighting on par. :lol Physical blows were equal. Durability was equal. Speed was equal too. Literally the same case in the Boruto Movie, except Naruto and Sasuke are actually stated to be equal unlike in the Manga.
You really need to stop making excuses. Bold is probably the dumbest thing you could possibly say. This argument only requires Kishimoto to be aware of the power of his own characters. Stop trying to over complicate shit here. :lol Are you going to argue next that Kishimoto doesn't take into account the comparison of power between the MC and his rival? :lol Amazing. Read the Manga and you'll know that Sasuke and Naruto's power ups always drew them closer to the other. That's the point of the MC rival relationship.
And how do I value feats over the authors words? Kishimoto said Naruto=Sasuke, you just believe it's Ashura Mode Naruto when supporting evidence disagrees. The casual fan would look at Naruto and Sasuke in the movie after reading the guide and say that Naruto=Sasuke based on what was shown in the movie as that is what the casual fan will see. Not sure why you thought it'd be a good idea to try and make this point when it doesn't help yours at all.
So V3 with CM is equal to BSM? Does that mean, then, that PS>BSM? Because Kurama's chakra is not stronger than Sasuke's chakra, as he himself admits, so his chakra would do nothing to Sasuke's Susunoo, which comes from the strength of Sasuke's chakra.
It isn't because that's what you're assuming, whether you know it or not. You're previous comment argues that Sasuke=Ashura mode Naruto doesn't make sense to you, therefore, it's not what Kishi meant "Saying "Sasuke=Ashura Mode Naruto" is based on little to nothing and definitely not more than what the opposite conclusion has for support.", and even in your latest post "you just believe it's Ashura Mode Naruto when supporting evidence disagrees."That, therefore, means that you assume Kishimoto actually thought about which powers he would make them use in order for them to be equal in the movie, just as you look at feats. Not only that, it's begging the question, i.e. you're assuming the answer to the very question we're arguing about.
Feats are what i'm talking about. When Kishimoto made each power up he wasn't worried about how fast each one is going to make them, or how well it work against the other opponent. This is seen throughout both the movie and the manga, where abilities are thrown out or forgotten to keep the story moving forward.
You're argument is basically that Kishimoto meant those characters at that point because he wrote it in a guide about the movie.
But you don't take into account anything else, which is kind of like jumping to a conclusion. No, the casual audience won't just see the movie and forget about the abilities Naruto used in the manga. They won't forget that Naruto can use SM with Kurama. For all they know he was using it in the movie. People take a quote and ignore what else happened, which is why a fan like Forneverworld, or Sawyer7mage can believe that Sasuke lost VOTE 2, even though both characters were in the same state at the end of the fight. It's also why people here have the ability to make fun of someone for not knowing something. Casual fans aren't as attentive, nor are they going to argue about things like this. In fact, to my knowledge, you're the only one who even thought this way, which doesn't mean you're wrong on it's own, but it does mean that most people thought that it was meant in general, even here on NB, where most people aren't casual fans.
And again, there is literally no reason for someone to come to that same conclusion as you did, unless they had some interest in the power of each character, which neither casual, nor Kishimoto have.
