Well, you got some points right.Overall seen a pretty decent list. Of course you can always debate about certain players and their ranking, it's subjective after all, but as I said in a global perspective it's a justifiable list as most players who should be in there, are in there. The only ones that immediately comes to mind that aren't in there, are Figo and Beckham. Though despite the latter's god-like free kick, it's kinda hart to separate Beckham the player from Beckham the celebrity.
This is a video of the best players of the 2000's, meaning from the first decade of the 21st century. Messi and CR only started to become truly the most prominent players in the world at the end of that decade, hence their rankings. Neither of them should ever be at the top of the list when it concerns the 1st decade. Now if you make a list of the 2nd decade then they will most likely hold the 1st and 2nd spot, unless someone does even better in the coming years.
Not really. Zidane, Ronaldo, Roberto Carlos, Henry...it's a pretty conservative list.
