No. The main conflict in the story was between Sasuke and Naruto.

And regardless of what people thought of their friendship, the conflict was set up well through character traits, goals, and accomplishments, and it spanned from Sasuke's appearance to chapter 698. Hell their fanboys still hate each other.

I think it's better to hand it off to the new Gen and hope that something happens to normalize the insane power levels, even if their is no rivalry set up yet that I can see (Besides the bait panels with Kawaki and Boruto.)

No unless there was an otsutsuki introduced with dual Tenseigan and rinnegan on both palms of the hand. That sounds like a reasonable opponent that would give a current naruto and sasuke a good fight. But they would still neg though, unless his rinnegan had absorption and limbo. That would be interesting.
