Would you have rather the new manga just focused on Naruto and Sasuke being older?

The whole draw for the Boruto manga was supposed to be that it was scaling back the power again, instead of following the characters who had already made it.

But oops, problem is that in the 8th chapter (or whichever it is) we're going to be seeing Boruto tossing a TBB sized Rasengan at an opponent that's related to Kaguya.

So, it makes me want to ask; why not just make this story about Naruto and Sasuke again?

Honestly the parts I'm interested in the most are the ones that take place when Kakashi was Hokage. I could have followed a whole manga around that time.

As much as I would love to see Naruto in space slaughtering all the Otsutsukis, I'm kinda glad the series is going to focus on Boruto, and I have faith that it can actually turn out to be pretty good. Also, I just don't want anyone not named Kishimoto creating a series about Naruto.

Nah that would defeat the purpose. Having a plot that goes through their kids is better than just continuing with them. It gives more time for more content and better perspective of the new issue especially if it's one that needs time to complete and tell in detail. As long as they tell Naruto and Sasuke's involvement in the plot well and flashbacks of Naruto and Sasuke to fill in holes they good. Better than just watching old *****s do the same stuff over again.

Plus it's actually better reading the manga than it was watching the movie. Had the manga come out first more people probably would like the movie too, so I think once the manga gets into the parts we don't know about it'll pick up

Why would anyone want to see a Manga about Naruto being the Hokage... doing paperwork. The only interesting thing would be Sasuke traveling dimensions, but the fact that they already defeated the big 'bad' -- That would get boring really fast too.

I'll wait till I see what kind of story they are making with the next generation post-Kishimoto's story. It's really vague tbh

Its already too late for that route since being hokage means you have to spend a lot of the time in the village. IF Sasuke was true main character we could see some new enemies from the dimensions hes been traveling and that would be really interesting.Since the manga is called Naruto and without him they wouldnt do something like that. Maybe if Naruto and Sasuke actually traveled together in the Last that would make a badass arc but the author wanted them to get settled with pairings.


Naruto and Sasuke moved away from DBZ dynamic but I think the story would be more badass if its just Naruto and Sasuke fighting/tag teaming villians again.

What are the results of the revolution that Naruto and Sasuke started?

How will the next generation live within that revolution and what will their accomplishments be within it, and what are their goals in response to this massive cultural shift?

Seeing Naruto and Sasuke enjoying their success would be a bit stale, they've grown as characters already over fifteen years.

Now we can see the whole premise of the will of fire ideology, to see the new leaves grow.

Remember what Kakashi said to Hidan before he kills him.

What Guy says to Madara as he opens the eighth gate.

What Minato and Kushina sacrificed for the next generation.

What Obito learned to redeem himself.

The poems of Sarutobi.

How will the new generations fires be lit and help form this new era?
