Joe Manganiello has just been confirmed for Ben Affleck's Batman film.

What chu guys think?

I hope he is not the only main villain in that movie, I hope there's somewhere else in the shadows, or someone who paid him. I hope to see the Joker more so we can get that Robin story going

I shouldn't have looked at his IMDB now I won't be able to not see Marshall's lawyer friend from How I Met Your Mother.

Idk man he doesn't have many action movies under his belt, I hope they at least acknowledge that and let a stunt man handle a lot of the action scenes. There's a clear difference between someone who spent their life working towards being a stunt-man or martial artist and an actor who has to spend 6 months learning for a role. When you have a mask tell the actors to sit down and let the professionals handle those scenes.

Very true. I've been binge watching old school Jackie Chan and Bruce Lee movies lately and now going back to current action movies is killing me. The difference in skill, choreography, and overall immersion is insane.

Plot Twist, this is actually Clayface impersonating Deathstroke.
lol like in the game

I'm confused, isn't this the deathstroke that came close to killing Batman?
that's what I hear

You're right, I'm sure they'll teach him some stuff, but some good stunt man is gonna have to step up regardless, but as loongest they do a good job with it all is good.

Not many can plan and execute a fight scene like Jackie can. Now that's not to say actors who are taking on more stunt roles aren't getting good in the short time they have but you can see more fluidity and less thought in the execution with someone like Jackie who spent most of his life training in martial arts and stunt work.

Joker and Deathstroke in one batman movie are too much, those are his most unstable and dangerous enemies. Even if it's Frank Miller's Batman he can't handle both unless supes steps in.

You would think but I remember them letting Bale do a lot of the fight scenes for Batman and what we got was that God awful ballerina elbow scene in the parking garage and a Batman who didn't kick a single person in the head. Because that's what Bale was limited to, skill wise. The actors can learn a lot with the time given but it'll never be as clean as letting a professional do it. This is probably my biggest pet peeve with action movies, super hero especially, when you have a character behind a mask sacrifice star appeal for functionality dammit.
