To add on what I mentioned before, it can be used with a counter or other freeform attack, basically making it a good transition into whatever you want to do next. It says that it can be triggered in a lot of ways, so this wording tells me that this technique is a solid counter attack. You can also fully control how many kicks you deliver, within reason, so yoy can alter it to suit your needs. Very handy technique to have

Yep, and it's one of many.
Let's looks at another kick. We've talked about versatility. Try to tell me how that would be relevant with this technique. Is it versatile? What do you think of the technique?

(Konoha Gōriki Senpū ) - Leaf Strong Whirlwind
Rank: B
Type: Attack
Range: Short
Chakra Cost: N/A
Damage Points: 40
Description: A taijutsu using a combination of speed and power. The essence of this technique is concentrated in a spinning back kick, with such speed that makes it hard to follow the user's movement, smashing his enemy with overwhelming strength. This is a more Powerful leaf great whirlwind.

So as I reread through this technique, Im seeing that basically it's a long winded way of saying a really strong spinning back kick. When it comes to versatility, this one doesnt even need something to trigger it, and it can also be used defensively. For example, of someone where to come in with a chidori or Rasengan, this would be a suitable counter due to the legs being longer than the arms. That coupled with its offensive capabilities, like following up other taijutsu moves, makes this a very good technique to have. I also like how it is one fluid movement, leaving little room for interruption.

Long-winded is about right, but certainly versatile.
But yeah, it has all the things we've talked about; versatility, simplicity, etc. It can be applied differently depending on your situation.
Anyway, you've mentioned it before, but let's look at this one before we continue:

(Kōsa Hō) – Intersection method
Rank: B
Type: Defence
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: With this jutsu, the user is able to intercept and counter an oncoming taijutsu technique by raising the knee, and driving the elbow downwards at the same time. This catches the attacking limb between his two limbs, and drives the elbow down with great force, effectively shattering the bone.
Tell me about it.

It's a fairly simple technique, in which you catch your opponent's outreached arm or leg between a raising knee and a dropping elbow. The result is the limb stopping it's forward motion and being shattered at the bone, at the same time. It's a really cool technique that only requires a limb going toward you, such as a punch, kick, Rasengan, etc, to use this technique. The after effect is pretty great as well, breaking the bones it contacts. This makes that limb essentially useless, making the battle a lot easier for you from that point forward. Great technique overall

Takes some precision to use, but yes it certainly has potential.

Let's look at a 'combination.' Some techniques consist of multiple attacks bundled together. Take for instance this technique:

(Rīfukonbo) Leaf Combo
Rank: B
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 40
Description: The user performs a small combo where he starts by punching the enemy in the chest and then a punch to the gut, and then a powerful palm thrust, pushing him down to the earth.

Tell me about it.

In theory, it sounds like it should be a very fluid move all together. The first strike stuns by forcefully removing air from their lungs by the exerted pressure, or "knocking the wind out of them". With them now a tad dazed, you follow up immediately with a gut punch, to which most people's reactions are to grab their stomach and bend over. At which point, the third strike comes in from over top, into their back and forcing them to the ground.

I don't know if I like it very much to be completely honest. Yeah, these things would happen IRL, but in the RP, everyone thinks their characters are super tough by default, thus not weak to these things, such as the first blow stunning them. There are also a lot of places for an opponent to interrupt and counter my move. Plus, sending someone to the ground isn't a great idea, due to the number of jutsu that begin with "The user slams their palms on the ground..".

I completely agree. Your opponent won't take something like this lying down. Expect a counterattack the second you go for the first kick. Simplicity always trumps these long-winded, 'detailed' Tai moves some people prefer. We must always be careful to be precise with our wording and give all the necessary information regarding our move, but trying to bury it in useless data is just... not very good sportsmanship if you ask me. A punch is a punch; think more about your move then about how to make essay-size.
Unless you have any questions about the B-Ranks I think we can safely go to A-Ranks. Fewer techniques here (3 <_>), so let's begin with the one I know you're interested in; Leaf Dragon God

( Konoha Ryūjin ) - Leaf Dragon God
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Rank: A-rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: 60
Description:
This is an ultimate taijutsu technique created by the legendary taijutsu master Chen. It appears to be initiated by an upward spin kick at which point it quickly becomes like tornado. Forming into a dragon with long whiskers, it attacks the target aiming to swallow them, at which point they are cut by the razor sharp air currents inside the attack. After initiating the attack, the user appears to remain shielded within the base of the tornado as the outward surface of the dragon seems to be solid enough for a person to impact and rebound off of, making the only way to enter the technique once it has been initiated is by being swallowed. However, there is one distinct weakness to the technique. Since the Dragon God's real form (and what it basically is) is that of an ordinary tornado, though cosmetically shaped into a dragon, its attack power is based on rotation. If one enters the attack's centre (Dragon's Eye) while rotating at high speed, such as Lee's One-Man Front Lotus, it can be dispersed without inflicting damage. The technique, while seemingly similar to Wind Release, is actually just the users own physical power (through the use of the spinning kick) shaping the air into currents through movement. It is, however, enough to fight off elemental ninjutsu of the same rank and below.
Note: Can only be used by Taijutsu Specialists and EIG users

This one is almost as iconic as the Rasengan, so forgive me if my reply seems lacking. Repeating common information seems like a waste of time. But anyway, the technique is kicked off with an upward spin kick, which in itself isn't a great component to this move. Prevent the kick, prevent the dragon. I like the idea of allowing my opponent inside by having the dragon swallow them, it seems that could come in handy for a few reasons. Preventing outside help, or maybe I could use this defensively to protect myself and an ally by having the dragon swallow them as well, but considering that I would have to kick them to save them, there would probably be a better option. Counter rotations directed into the eye neutralizes the technique, but considering that the move is upon you before that fact is revealed makes it hard to capitalize on. Elemental neutrality is nice, but all that means is my opponent will bump it up to S-Ranks to get around that, so it's a moot point all together.

It's hard to imagine that the simple wind off of your movements is what is causing A-Rank damage. Wouldnt that mean that direct contact with your body should do more than that, logically speaking? I mean, there is a difference in feeling the wind off of a car as it passes, and being hit by it.

The answer? Don't think about it. Making this kind of reptilian wind with a kick is ludicrous, but we find meaning where we can.
Yes, counter rotation is virtually impossible to take advantage of in this RP, at least if you ask me.

Next:

(Rīfu Oshitsubusu Bōfū) Leaf Crushing Storm
Rank: A
Type: Offensive
Range: Short
Chakra cost: N/A
Damage points: 60
Description: The user strikes the enemy with a powerful knee to the stomach, causing them to double over and he finishes with a strong elbow from the alternating arm to the back of the head. If successful, it will render the target unconscious for 2 turns.

A simple two part move, with an awesome effect if achieved. I mean, achieving it is a task of its own due to the gap between the knee and the elbow, but of achieved, the target is yours. They would be unconscious, so you could capture them, kill them, torture them, or whatever else you would like. It would be nice if the knee was taken out to turn this into a elbow shot to the back of the head, but that would be too easily abused, so I see why it is the way it is. I can see myself experimenting with this one, that effect is too good to ignore for now lol. Another cool thing about this technique is the way that it is worded, you know where the counter is coming from. Allowing the knee to go through would make your opponent bend at the waist. Either due to pain, or the forward motion of your knee compared to their stationary body, either way allowing it to go through almost ensures the next part happening, so they have to stop the knee to be completely safe.

The only downside is for the effect to, you know, take effect you have to be successful. Expect resistance xD

Final one:

(Seishun Furu Pawā) Youth Full Power
Type: Offensive
Rank: A-Rank
Range: Short
Chakra: N/A
Damage: 60
Description:
The user begins with kicking the opponent into the air. Once the enemy is airborne, the user will quickly follow, positioning himself to deliver a kick to the opponent in the face or upper body, disorienting him and using the movement to position himself above. Once above, the user will finish with a powerful drop kick that will send the opponent back down to the ground, with such might that from a 3rd person perspective, only a flash of light is visible coming down, ending in a crater and a massive dust cloud.
Note: Can only be used by Taijutsu specialists or EIG users

The cosmetics behind this are cool, but to be honest it seems kind of choppy. First you have to kick them into the air, then reposition yourself in front of them, kick them again, reposition again, before delivering the biggest blow of the jutsu. The second kick is for disorientating your opponent, which is both pointless and completely necessary. What i mean by that is for this technique to go through, you need to stop your opponent from reacting midway, which is accomplished by this kick. The problem with that is this leaves the first kick as the most viable counter option. So even though it makes up for that weakness, it doesn't help the other weakness lol. Also, it appears that even if I am successful, I won't be able to help the fact that I would be airborne to a grounded opponent. That's horrible positioning for any scenario really.

It looks cool and I'm sure it has its uses, but I don't think I like it very much overall.

I think we can both agree that it is a very clunky technique that, if used at all, should be used for its first kick only.

But that's it. You've completed Basic Tai. Congratulations :)
