Sage of the six paths- clearly the best founder of the ninja world and first one to utilise chakra and posseser of the rinnegan<br /> 2.the 1st- founder of konoha and the kage system, control over bijuu's and jinchuruki's and master of wood ninjustu<br /> 3.Maadara- co founder of konoha, posseser of EMS, control over kyuubi and space time ninjustu overshadows the 3rd<br /> 4.4th hokage- advanced space time ninjustu, beat the kyuubi and the greatest genius shinobi in konoha history ( could have gone higher if lived long enough to advance his strenght)<br /> 5. Just because people say he was the strongest doesnt make him the strongest, im mean his strongest justu (space time) was overshadowed by maadara's, plus he didnt have the control over the bijuus like maadara and the 1st. I also think the sage of the six paths was way stronger than the 1st. Cuz jiraiya said the sage of the six paths had the power to destroy and create the ninja world</div>

1) jiraiya- sensei to both the 4th and naruto... 1 of the 3 sannin and i think the 3rd's student.
2) itachi- very strong and killed all who he loved to keep peace and become hated... a fate worse than death.
3) minato (4th hokage) - very strong gave his life to save konoha and put the kyuubi in his son.
4)3rd hokage - died fighting for konoha and sensei to tsunade, jiraiya and orochimaru.
5)1st hokage - formed konoha and once in possession of all the bijuu (or at least some... it said he shared bijuu out but dunno if it said he had all of them)

well he created a bad ass jutsu (rasengan) he was a great contributor in the fight for konoha And he also has the reaper death seal with his instaneous speed jutsu

hey sage106 a lil off topic but i believe madara was defeated by the 4th. hear me out the shinobi was tryin to keep back the fox they said hold him till the fourth arrives. i believe madara summoned the fox and went to attack from the other side. minato knew and fought madara and defeated him then he went and sealed the fox with his last bit of chakra. thats why i think the 4th is stronger than madara
