The uzumakis are related to the Senju with a strong life force so I doubt Naruto couldn't go beyond Minato even without Kurama. I think he could've mastered it up to the same point, it would just take a while longer thats all

Dont compre Minato with Naruto, Minato is a no know clan and has no chakra pools from being from a clan, he did it all by himself.

Naruto fans always forget that it isn't Kyuubi vs. Uchiha KKG, it's Uzumaki KKG + Kyuubi vs. Uchiha KKG.

So if you're going to take away the boons of Sasuke's heritage, you have to take away both the Kyuubi and Naruto's inherited chakra reserves.

Without Kuruma Naruto has no latent power waiting to awaken such as a Sharingan. He has no kekkei genkai. And you cant just put Uchiha kkgg all as 9ne because its not.
