So you think Naruto and Sakura have doujutsu because you think the word means eyes? You just can't understand English so of course you'd miscomprehend what is written on the site.
Way to be off the mark with that poor analogy. Yes, because the term both has some other metaphorical meaning, which I can't seem to grasp. And no, man, it would mean Sakura's Dou or Naruto's Dou in accordance with the deep-seated knowledge of Japanese compound-words you seem to possess.

If I say "water" refers to both a certain company and liquid, that doesn't mean half of the word means one thing and the other half means another. It means a company is "water" and a liquid is "water". Saying Naruto has a doujutsu means he has a doujutsu, not a "dou" (which doesn't make much sense in the first place).

No, it means it would simply refer to two things that are interconnected. The word can only be used for such eyes and it directly refers to the abilities associated with them as well. You cannot use outside it if the techs are not involved.

I cannot believe I am still trying to explain the instance of "BOTH" to you. Wow, you are too precious, man.

So what do you think about the bottom of that page?

"The Byakugan, Rinnegan, and Sharingan are collectively known as the Three Great Dōjutsu (三大瞳術, San Daidōjutsu, English TV: Three Great Visual Jutsu, Literally meaning: Three Great Eye Techniques)."

Does it not refer to each of them as Eye Techniques or Visual Jutsu? It didn't call them eyes, but eye techniques. Are you just going to ignore the last word?

And are you going to ignore both?

Get some evidence that you can refer to mere eyes as doujutsu. Say that in Japan and you'll sound like a retard, but you've already managed that through the internet. You did ignore the statement though as I predicted, so nothing more to talk about. Feel free to make a thread on this topic. No one will agree with you.

You posted the evidence yourself as you predicted? Doujutsu is a coined word, so, it wouldn't even exist in normal language without a reference material. Time to break into jiggy.
