[Discussion] Who is luffy's bestfriend to straw hats?

Again best friend- theres no two or all of them, best friend is for only one person

Theres no wrong answer since luffy is close to all of them.

In my oppinion its zorro, zorro would sacrifice himself for luffy, sanji would to, but its probably because of a man code, pride or respect, but zorro its different which is something i really wanna know myself what that is.

What you guys think luffy's best friend?

Definitely Usopp. It's who Luffy spends the most time and goofs off with. Luffy isn't the type to "love" a nakama more than another, but Usopp is for sure the one he's got the most intimate relationship with.

It's not Ussop. The reason why Oda always draws them like they are BF is because Usopp is the only character that fits Luffy'a comedy style, so he is the first choice for comedy relief. However his best friend is Zoro, first cremate, loya and brave. God I hate Ussop with a passion.

Then you're letting your emotion cloud judgement because Zoro isn't his best friend, he hardly talks to him and spends most of his free time alone. He likes Luffy but I'm noit so sure he likes being around Luffy.

I never thought about it until now, but you're right. The way Zoro is so stern with Luffy is reminiscent of Ace being stern to Luffy, and both of them had notable moments where they put their lives at risk(with Ace losing his) to protect Luffy. Sabo and Sanji are both of noble blood that abandoned their families, have blonde hair, and have fire-related abilities, and are much more relaxed with Luffy(until it comes to food).
