Naruto used RSM in Boruto the Movie

First lets establish that while Naruto used RSM, he did not utilize the chakra of all 9 Bijuu which is why the TSBs didn't form behind him. Second lets make sure we understand the difference between RSM and BSM.

In RSM the pigmentation around Naruto's eyes do not appear while in BSM the pigmentation does form, this is the difference some people have not realized yet.

The first image you can see Naruto's RSM design from Boruto the Movie, now people will say why didn't he use the abilities we saw in his fight against Kaguya and Sasuke. Why? Because Naruto was only using Kurama's chakra and not the chakra of the 9 Bijuus.

People will question, why didn't Naruto just reflect that attack or use his TSB to defend? The answer is simple: Sasuke said they can't use their powers in the village because everyone will get caught up in it. Do you really think if Naruto were to reflect or use his TSB that the village would survive this?

Kurama's Silhouette was enough to protect the people of the village. And of course Naruto wouldn't need to use it when he and Sasuke fought Momoshiki in the other dimension, as a tag team nothing stops them

Of course, Momoshiki did state that he can make infinite numbers of Naruto's already humungous rasengan with ease. During the chunin exam fight sequence, Momoshiki stated that he wanted to make pills out of them, that would grant him immortality, eternal youth and invincibility, all of those without any handwork.

That was the point of the story to begin with. Momoshiki symbolised Boruto's reliance of the chakra bracelet.

I believe this more than anything then.

I've alway thought that it was BSM! But Naruto has the ultimate SM with bijuu, the pigmentation in gone because he has better mastery over his SM is what i thought about it..

He doesn't need to go RSM when he has Sasuke as support/backup..
Toneri Momo-kin didn't have what it takes to push Naruto to Rikudou mode..
