Eleanor is a mature woman with dark hair that’s almost always up in a neat bun. Her typical attire is a red and blue military-style outfit with combat boots and gloves; a battle dress, complete from head to toe. This is a token to her family’s heritage and pedigree. To further compliment her academic and formal persona, a simple set of grey metal glasses frame her face, exuding class and authority.

Her civilian clothing consists of black stockings, a blue skirt, and matching blouse with long white sleeves. Red highlights run down the middle of her blouse and collar. Its fit helps to accentuate her well-shaped body.

Personality:

A natural learner and lover of books, it should be no surprise as to how these traits affect the way Eleanor holds herself and speaks. Often serious, some may paint her as aloof (or even pretentious to a fault), though she also has a more light-hearted side that pops up every now and then.
Experiences throughout her life taught her important lessons, something she appreciates more and more as she gets older. Though she may be less open and reserved, she also cares deeply for those close to her, and has maternal instincts as well. With an endless thirst for knowledge and an insatiable curiosity, Eleanor strives to not only better herself, but leave behind a a proper legacy for those who would eventually succeed her.

Essentially an embodiment of Ravenclaw’s values: wit, learning, and wisdom, Eleanor is also confident in her competences and skills. She also values efficiency, clarity, order, and things of that sort. Getting lost in the details or overthinking things can slow her down, but perhaps it’s also a testament to her keen thought process.

Background Info

History:

The Varrot family didn’t descend from shinobi, but weren’t ordinary civilians either. They were a well-organized group of enforcers, mercenaries, and guards. Performing security services, mercenary work, and the like, they earned a reputation of professionalism and reliability among the nations. Some compared their power to a military and their fighting ability to ninjas, albeit with a different flair.

Eleanor was born to one of the younger children of the family’s head. She was far down the line of succession when compared to her cousins, so she was granted more freedoms within the family business. Her drive and inherent intelligence allowed her to achieve to high standards, earning the respect of those who interacted with her.

While she was under the care of her father, Eleanor sought to know more about her mother, who she didn't know very well. Her research and journey led her to discover that her mother was a descendant of the ancient clan, Kisei. Eleanor’s father, a ‘muggle’ in the Kisei clan’s terms, married her mother (who was a pure Kisei), giving Eleanor a ‘half-blood’ heritage. The marriage was a low-key affair and secrets were kept from both the Kisei and the Varrots; Eleanor would later find out that her mother had left the Kiseis to ‘explore the world’, married her father quietly, and went off again when Eleanor was a toddler, reasons and destinations unknown.

Deciding to join the Kisei clan, Eleanor’s choice was met with cool wariness by her family, who felt her talents would be wasted by undergoing training with ‘those crazy wizards’. Despite this, her father supported her choice and let her go on her way.

Upon making contact with the Kiseis at Hogwarts, Eleanor was admitted as part of a new, pilot generation of exceptional students; eventually, she took charge of House Ravenclaw, one of the branches of the clan. Of course, there were (and still are) challenges due to her blood and being born outside the clan, but Eleanor once again proved herself worthy. Her mother’s lineage lay in this House; destiny, perhaps.

She had a lover as a young woman, but that lover was killed during territorial/turf wars that the Varrot family were entangled in. Eleanor found her lover’s killer and exacted justice, though those that were there to witness it might call it cold-blooded vengeance.

Now, Eleanor seeks closure with her mother while fulfilling her duties to her village, family and clan. What happens next is a story yet to be written…

Specialties

Eleanor's primary elemental affinity is Fire, and when combined with her wand and skill level, allows her to cast Fire ninjutsu non-verbally. This non-verbal ability also extends to Defense Against the Dark Arts, her Mahou specialty. She also has a taijutsu specialty with its associated benefits.

Shinobi Equipment

Due to her meticulousness, Eleanor carries all the necessary tools that a shinobi has, coupled with a few unorthodox things that might prove useful in the trickiest situations.

Kisei Clan

As the Head of House Ravenclaw, Eleanor has the proper authority and power within the clan that corresponds to her rank, which include but are not limited to verbal and non-verbal casting of ninjutsu and Mahou. She teaches Defense Against the Dark Arts in Hogwarts.

Wand

Eleanor’s wand (a weapon to denote her membership in the Kisei clan) is composed of a Holly wooden base and a Phoenix Feather core type. Its properties give her the ability to enhance her DADA spells and Fire ninjutsu. Its design and coloring is a reference to the types of large weapons the Varrot family would use, though scaled down to be usable with one hand.
