this kids really need to learn difference btw having a cooldown due to chakra or due to the eye technique itself

Its obvious he still cant spam it though. Probably a cooldown between uses, or the fact that Sasukes power was returning anyway allowed for the one against Shin. The world may never know lol.

the technique still possibly having a cooldown does not mean its chakra taxing which is what i was addressing, the two are not necessarily related. koto needs a huge recharge upon being cast, does not mean its chakra taxing, same goes for shinra tensei 5 secs cooldown, its the nature of certain doujutsu. him not spamming it is due to the recharge time which is unrelated to chakra. like i said the only technique sasuke blatantly said costs chakra is dimension portals.

If Momoshiki wouldn't have hit Sasuke the outcome would be the same.. The Kunai wouldn't have hurt Momoshiki in the slightest. So the point remains the same..

Well Boruto's kunai did hurt Momo. So in the end it depends what Sasuke could've have done had he not been slapped by Momo in the face.
