Well, the Juubi Clones weren't more than fodders in the war, and the K11 ripped them to shreds once they started showing new techniques. Akamaru could probably kill some without Kiba. And the Kamui Juubi Thing was completely useless.

Like I said, completely useless. As far as we saw, It had nothing in offence or defence, and was really just there to give Shin a mode of transport. Sarada showed that it can be wrecked before it runs away, and Akamaru's plenty fast.
It didn't have long range Kamui, or Obito's absorbtion kamui. It just takes anyone nearby to an alternate dimension.

Akamaru has no long ranged attacks. So as he gatsugas, Mini Juubi Kamuis him and Kamui is inescapable once it initiates

Mini juubis kamui is closed ranged and it has no skills whatsoever. Sending someone away is not winning. And it doesnt have its own dimension. Only Obito is confirmed to have that.

Akamaru will kill him faster than he can open his eye.

Not to my knowledge.

IMO, it's probably not even sentient. To me, it looked like a wirelessly controlled "device" that's eye was connected to Shin's eye so he could easily spy, and bring it to himself to escape, in a pinch. I always thought it's physical construction was either Hashirama's cells or a portion of the Juubi's flesh... bound to be loads of the stuff lying around from all the destroyed mini clones.

Throw in some Yin or Yang Release or w/e, and bam, weird little thing is born.

Can we stop calling this thing's ability Kamui? It teleports everyone in a short range to another dimension, which is fairly different to Kamui. The only similarity is the spiral pattern.

No, it's not inescapable. This thing is extremely weak, it's only form of "offence" has an extremely small range, and once Akamaru is attacking it, it doesn't have enough time to teleport away.
Even if it does somehow warp Akamaru, that just means Akamaru will eat it in another dimension, rather than this one. Unlike Obito, it has to teleport whenever it uses it's power.

Speed or range is all you need to beat this thing, and Akamaru/Kiba specialise in speed.
