If the Inazuka Clan seriously wants to fight with dogs in the long run, then I'm sure they would breed their dogs to have decently long life, otherwise they would be useless in the long run. Kiba's Mom still has a dog, Kuromaru, and it can still fight despite presumably being as old as Akamaru in the epilogue.
