I really couldn't see them ending up with each other based on their histor compared to Sasuke and Sakuras but I'm sure if Sakura didn't want him or got over the D it would've happen.

I don't doubt Sakura can do the same illusion too but how long will she live is another matter since even the diamond of stored chakra is her own chakra and not some backup source

Sasuke on the other hand is talking about immortality and we saw Madara basically doing the same with himself being connected to the senju tree thing to survive (life support)

Sasuke on the other hand likely had a better option of all the tailed beast meaning he can live long and also use the extra chakra to keep himself young

but that also has a limit so he'd likely do what Kaguyra did and have repeating amount of people go and sacrifice themselves to refuel the "battery"


to which I ask how can Sasuke do this now without turning into a villain?

By summoning the gedo and absorobing it in his body, he can become immortal as it has endless life force and made obito survive rinne tensei and bijuu extraction even after it left his body.
