Animes are often made for promotional purpose too. Anime shows on TV do not recover much of the investment. It's the manga volume sales and CDs or other merchandise.

Itachi shinden consists of two novels: The first, Book of Bright Light (光明篇, Kōmyō-hen) was released on September 4, 2015 and the second novel, Book of Dark Night (暗夜篇, An'ya-hen) was released on October 2, 2015. These novels were adapted into an anime series, Itachi shinden Book: Light and Darkness in early 2016.

Sasuke shinden consists of only one novel, the Book of Sunrise (来光篇, Raikō-hen) which was released on November 4, 2015. This novel will be adapted into an anime series in the winter of 2016.

They may animate them all if it helps them in promoting the franchise. Shinden published last September only got animated. It was yet to catch up with other Naruto light novels.

its possible that a lot of sakura/ss fan's bought it for the possible pairing content, but I heard it barely had any to give until the last chapter. SS is really popular in Japan

That wouldn't be enough to push in to list of best sellers and stay their long enough to make a place in this list. Because people start reviewing and talking about the material a book has and if they were looking for a specific content only and it's not there not that many would bother.

Some of the reviewers rated down the English version because of grammatical and translations errors only but liked it otherwise. There are many aspects to a book. Sakura's story itself may not have much to it but it seems the writer took advantage of the verse building of years and also added Ino Sai story (based on what some of the reviews said)

Edit: Just noticed you declared Sakura hidden as not fully translated only because someone on another forum didn't finish translating it all. :|

Sakura Hiden is the same novel where Sakura tanks a TBB. Wanna see that animated.

They didn't even finish translating the entire Sakura Novel (OD was supposed to be translating it). I can't help but think that it's a boring story.

I didn't read it but I remember hearing that it had Naruto and Sasuke clones or something like that. I'll pass.

Shikamaru, Gaara, and the upcoming Mirai novel look the best tbh.

I haven't bought it yet, it's been sold out at my barns and noble but i got the kakashi one. Sakura went out to prove his innocence. It also covers her travels after the war.

She basically ends up pounding a kurama cloak clone i think. After she got captured and she got away.

OT: Not because they animate these first doesnt mean that these would not get animated later. If it's one thing they love to do is milk the hell out of this series.

Sakura is the main heroine in the entire series, one animated novel does not matter. Sakura performed more in the war arc than Hinata has the entire series, Hinata is just a set of boobs.

I read that novel. It isnt about Hinata. it's about everyone EXCEPT Hinata and Naruto. it;s the konoha 11 buying wedding gifts. it's a funny story and the Kiba/Shino chapter actually made me tear up
