The U.S. of A. Does not even come close to top 10 of best country in terms of education, healthcare, etc. The combination of these empty slogans like "support the troops"/"god bless America" and a delusional sense of patriotism make for these ridiculous claims of being the best country on earth.

Just making sure people understand that I'm not actually saying that the U.S. is the greatest country, merely pointing out the hypocrisy of the statement with the example of how poorly the natives are treated.

It's honestly a damn shame and we act like everything is ok and call those less fortunate than us lazy.

U.S. didn't become ultra capitalistic until Reagan. So no, the U.S.A. does not represent that. The U.S.A was not founded because the settlers wanted capitalism.

Actually no, it would not. If we get rid of privatized healthcare for a universal single-payer system, the U.S. household would save thousands because we would no longer have to pay monthly premiums. Instead we just get a small increase in tax, but because the monthly premiums are ridiculous in price, then we would instead save money.

That's a dumb rationalization of it. If you're saying something can't work in the U.S.A because of a different form of government, then how does it work in different countries with different forms of government? Why would it not work? Canada is pretty similar to the U.S. yet it has universal healthcare.

It's not free if you pay taxes....so what's your point? We're paying taxes for a universal healthcare system.

Not everything has to be privatized. Some services should be regulated by the government rather than corporate interest, where they could take advantage of the product and the prices as they are doing currently.

Should social security, the police, the army, or public education be privatized then?
If the US didn't become ultra capitalistic until Reagan, What was the Vietnam war for? I'll tell you, it was to prevent the spread of Communism. What is the antithesis of Communism? Capitalism

Further evidence that we were founded as a capitalist nation

We started out socialist and it failed miserably, causing John Smith to put in a form a capitalism.

And not every government service is a form of socialism. There are Legitimate roles of government and non legitimate. Police and military are obvious ones that aren't socialism. Don't try to paint people into a corner by arguing that every government service equates to socialism, it's clearly wrong

No, I just don't want to argue with an idiot who denies even the most basic knowledge.
Arguing that every government service is socialism is a bullshit argument. In the constitution we have clearly defined roles of government. You are twisting this into something it isn't to suit your argument. That's basic knowledge.
