My people may be shitty, but if there's one thing they excel at, it's creativity with inventing new swear-words. God, ofcourse, being the main target. (Trust me, Americans may think they've got the phrases, but they can't hold a candle to our vocabulary.)

If I remember correctly, you said that where you live 99% of the people are religious. It's not paradoxical because I know in some regions of my country there are even priests who blaspheme, but it's still a weird thing

Indeed most of them claim to be christians or muslims or w/e but very few actually live by it. You could say they're religious only on paper.
