Hello to all you wonder members of Azeroth. As most if not all of you know, the next expansion of Word of Warcraft is coming, and with it, is the Legion. I'm so excited, so much is being revamped. More battlegrounds for those who love PvP like myself, new story, new regions and most of all the class specs have been revamped so much. For example, Survival hunters are going to be close ranged, like one of their spells is they now throw harpoons at their target and pull themselves to them. It's like the opposite to deathgrip. They've gone all out to make each spec unque for each class. I personally am playing arcane mage and fire off spec these days. Though i've got about 6 other level 100's to play with. I wont spoil too much, you cnan see all the class changes on the battle.net site, or pm me and i'll update you.

My aim is to bring together NB members on one server so we can all help each other out. At the moment there are 3-4 members from here that play with me and i'm looking to see if their are any more. We play on the EU servers on Stormscale. If you are wondering, it's a PvP realm mainly but that wont stop you doing other things. I'm more than happy to help all, and we can even get a raiding team together in Legion. I'll lead a Rated BG team and find someone more suited to PVE for the raid leader. If you need gold i'll drop you some for starting off on the new realm. At the moment i'm helping a couple of members to farm mounts and titles while waiting for legion. If you want to join us, send me mail on stormscale. My mage is called "Doragothy".

If you're a new player and just getting started i'll help you level i've got plenty of time and willing to help anyone. You can use this thread for any form of WoW discussion also.

A lot of people play, but it's way past its glory days. It has around 5 million subscirbers, which is less than half of what WOTLK had. Not counting private servers of course.

How ignorant of you both. Yes millions of people still play, hence why they made the movie. Each expansion has it's own merits which appeal to different players, and all love what's coming in, if that's not you, don't post here.

These are facts mate...less and less people play World of Warcraf and the game is less and less hard.It's so easy to get gear these days and the instances are literally too easy now.You needed skill to beat Lich King in WotLK and take down Deathwing in Cataclysm...instances and pvp in MoP and above are just terrible and not as fun as much I had in WotLK and Cata.

Hence I'm sure you heard how many players want Vanillia back after Blizzard took Nostalrius down and are unhappy with new expansions...which really are very disappointing.

You can play any expansion anytime you want, there's plenty private servers. I myself played WoW for years, never played on official servers.

I've only played Burning Crusade, and a bit of Lich King, so I don't know. But the general reception wasn't good, plus the massive subs drop.

I was actually a big big PVE fan I spend most time taking down Lich King and Deathwing.Now I am playing MoP thinking to quit since really it's not good so I play PvP which is idk...not good but not so bad either.Monk's literally killed the game.Too OP and too much BS in one class,not to talk about other classes nerfs and how Blizzard keep and keep making Rogues OP with every expansion and nerfing Paladins and other classes.

I'm mad they nerfed Paladins since that was my main in Cataclysm.Now I play mainly with Warrior and Mage.Warrior was always fun to play and Fire Mage in MoP is decent with Alter Time spell...too OP if you ask me! Other than that I haven't and most likely won't play WoD and Legion.

Dude i am so down to pvp with you guys but i thought servers dont matter anymore since they are all intertwined now? But yeah add me dude im on gurubashi. Instantkarma-Gurubashi and Biohazardous-Gurubashi. Also i only play for the horde dude. Im not for the alliance.....ive been pvping since 2007.... i miss the high warlord days....

Ya, that whole thing about the majority of playerbase missing Vanilla is bullshit, at Vanilla's peak it was still less than what WoD's subs are currently.

WoD does suck, don't get me wrong and game has been catering to casuals but the raids aren't easier at all. Hell in Vanila, everything was just overtuned with three or four mechanics. It was just wait for tanks to get aggro and slowly dps.

Compare to now, that's trivial.

Honestly? The reason was because nostalrious actually provided Vanilla. Not these dumbass you can solo raids at level and the max lvl is 255 and all that other gimmicky bullshit.

It was straight Vanilla so of course it attrachted more players than the average private server.
