Because it's already possible. Meet someone on a landmark, make a thread, doesn't have to be a battle just give it a title:

[Landmark X] - Rucken & X

Have your little story there, or fight, and move on... xd

Well to be honest think of it this way, you're all in the ninja world doing your own things, on and off.You could spam up the landmarks or make an Encounter thread, that's separate, it may not be a fight but it could be something important like a fight or result in a fight. It would be the same as you entering your own little time frame zone and stop people interefering i guess
