By manga standards if you chop senju skins and stuff them in you. You suddenly get Senju strength. The only reason Madara got Rinnegan is because he added to himself Senju.

So what? It doesn't change that they're still Uchiha by any means. What, is Sasuke now a part of Juugo's clan because his chest is made of Juugo's flesh?

No Uchiha would ever obtain Rinnegan without an external modification. Whilist they don't need external modification to receive 1 tomoe, 2 tomoe, 3 tomoe, mangekyo, ems...

You can argue that Rinnegan isn't an ability of the Uchiha Clan, sure, but that doesn't mean the person is no longer an Uchiha.

I think i get what you're saying. Since having the rinnegan the uchiha are no longer 100% pure uchiha because of the different genetics & body motifications required to awaken rinnegan.

So Rinnegan is basically borrowed power like EMS? What else is new.

Rinnegan was never an Uchiha Doujutsu. Its an Otsutsuki doujutsu. However, Maybe Sasuke will change that, or not (Sarada) lol

Lol word, my misunderstanding then. The ssj2 gohan dude puts it pretty well, the general uchiha style and the rinnegan style were introduced to by pain are completely different and don't compliment each other at all, as I can't see an uchiha(save for obito) use the 6 paths like pain. And even when obito used the jins as th 6 paths they didn't seem to have the specific paths for each(I could be wrong) so I'd have to agree mostly, I still don't think it warrants a name change though, if Sakura is an uchiha now then I guess anything is possible

You're missing the point.

It's not switching a fighting style, if it was part of their potential in the first place. In other words, it's an extension of their fighting style.

Indra and Ashura's chakra is what awakens the Rinnegan.

Uchiha is just a clan name not the name of that power. Obito is still an Uchiha. He's just an Uchiha with the sharingan and Wood style KKG. Same goes for Madara. He's an Uchiha with the Sharingan, Mokuton, and the Rinnegan. His clan name is Uchiha therefore he's an Uchiha.

Indra only wields the Sharingans power but he's not an Uchiha. Simply because his clan name is Ootsutsuki.


Uchiha, Senju, Ootsutsuki, etc. are just the name of the clans they were born to.

what kind of logic is this. so they are no longer uchiha because a power they have didnt come from them naturally? you say getting the rinnegan changed their fighting style to non-uchiha which is not true. pretty sure none of them lost their sharingan and they still made use of it even though they had the rinnegan. they are still uchiha
