I tried out the extrude effect, and I screwed up BIG time, does any one know how to manipulate it?

Not a fan of the colour change, really, dunno if it's because of the saturation, but it's not bad. I think you added a light source at the top left, so that's a plus, although it could be in more abundance and even maybe not just in one spot, but as if it were coming from the top or wherever. Try darkening the edges where the light is not (you may have done so) and a few different layers of this with different opacities, etc. The heart could also maybe be neat with some sort of red glow or something, to catch your attention. The box effect thing is neat, but in my opinion, it could be faded in. It seems to abruptly begin.
