Not a fan of the colour change, really, dunno if it's because of the saturation, but it's not bad. I think you added a light source at the top left, so that's a plus, although it could be in more abundance and even maybe not just in one spot, but as if it were coming from the top or wherever. Try darkening the edges where the light is not (you may have done so) and a few different layers of this with different opacities, etc. The heart could also maybe be neat with some sort of red glow or something, to catch your attention. The box effect thing is neat, but in my opinion, it could be faded in. It seems to abruptly begin.

You're right I added two color sources of varied opacities in different layer blend modes on the top left and another one below right. I should've tried darkening the edges, you're right it would've been better, I guess it was my fear of not blending in well with the image. Once again, you're right, I wanted to do something for the heart, and I guess I should've done what you said, would've looked cooler, and yeah the extrude effect wasn't properly introduced along the edges, I guess I should've used softer brushes along the edges in the layer mask.

not really a big fan of the color change, orange-ish background for that orange/red/yellow ring thingy seems kinda meh for me.

also, the actual 150x300 ava looks a bit too zoomed out, crop it a bit better and focus on the model more

I respect the opinion mate, Yeah even I felt the exact same, thats why I decided to show the large version in the firstplace.
I didn't want to crop the hand/elbows out so it had to look that way :/

I get the color change thing, I see you don't like the similar colors kind of clash with the ring and background, I guess I could've improved the contrast in the area..

It looks waaaay better in the larger one, I think it's the scaling down that made the effect look blur.
