Ryun chuckles with a more knowing smile on his face. "Pretty far back, Septentriones are very mysterious, through millennia the shinigami didnt know much about them, that changed when the shinigami king met one.... " he turns back to Scarlet. "The king was looking over his kingdom when he saw something fall from the sky that came from a rift very similar to the one now. when he got to the crash site, he found a woman...with silver hair and purple eyes. her name was Maria, and she told the shinigami king, everything she knew about the septentriones..."

"She was killed, but not before giving birth to a baby boy. But ill get to that." He laughs to himself before continuing the story. "Maria lived her life with the shinigami, but most of them were fearful of her, but she remained close to the king. years pass, and the king and his wife gave birth to a baby boy, that boy was me!" he chuckles. "but not too long after...about 5 years, my mother died from a disease called the shinigami kiss, and the only one my father, the king had left, was Maria and well....she comforted him...perhaps too well because, she became pregnant..."

"His mother, i am not a septentrione, but no, from what my father told me, she was just a citizen, but i dont buy that...all the septentriones we've met havent been just a citizen, so why would she have been...."
