Now, now, people, no need to start arguing here xd
I'm still a bit drunk but I'll try to sum up at least something here in proper English, let's see...
Seems like I was right about Wales grabbing a narrow 1-0 win, but oh boy was I wrong with Portugal - Croatia. In fact, I was a little uncertain whether it was the alcohol that made me somehow miss all the chances in the game or if the game simply didn't have any chances, but after coming to it again a bit later on, I realized that it was indeed a hard-fought defensive game for sure. In the 90 minutes of ordinary time, there wasn't a single shot on target, which in fact is the first time that has happened in an international game in a tournament since 1980 xd
At the end of the day though, seems like Portugal's bad luck finally turned around this time with Croatia having lots of fair chances in extra time to bring it their way. I'm just glad Portugal managed to pull through and beat the biggest threat towards a potential final out there. Now I'm certain they will reach it unless they get back to a bad streak against Wales or Belgium in the semi (or god forbid they somehow screw up against Poland). My bet of Portugal facing Wales in the Semi and seeing Ronaldo vs Bales still lives on, but regardless of the end result, I don't see any team on this side of the tree winning the final really, unless Portugal makes it and face off against a team they can beat, like Spain (they almost did 4 years ago in the Semi but lost at penalties, and Croatia beat Spain as well this year).
Think that's about what's on my mind right now. Will sadly miss all the matches tomorrow but at least there's a decent one to come this Monday in Spain - Italy. Until then I suppose.
