2nd Hokage said the MS is powered by the special chakra that awakened in the brain.

Some of you folks are saying Sharingan had chakra in it.

I think it is just a tool that drains the user's chakra to power it up.

Sharingan = tool

User's chakra = power supply.

This is why Kakashi be hitting the floor sooner after using the Sharingan.

No he isn't, the chakra in the Sharingan is produced by the brain. When Sasuke transplants Itachi's eyes, the chakra his brain produced merges with the chakra in Itachi's eyes which is why EMS has both MS patterns.

The way I'm looking at it, the special chakra produced by the brain turn the Sharingan into MS. Basically unlock MS mode. After that, the MS have 2 power source to choose from, the special chakra(yin chakra) produced by the brain or the user's own spiritual energy. If you're Uchiha, it will use that special chakra(yin chakra) that was produced by the brain. if you're non-uchiha, it will use the user's spiritual energy.

This would makes sense if Obito's Sharingan didn't turn into the MS while in Kakashi's eye socket, but i guess not.

Then if you're right and that Sharingan has chakra, then how the F Madara used susanoo with no eyes at all? How Itachi used susanoo with like no light in his eyes at all?

Sharingan chakra is permanent the moment it's awakened hence why Kakashi was able to use Obito's eye and why Sasuke was able to unlock EMS.

No butcher was only half right. While it starts in the brain the chakra is transferred to the eyes. This is why techs like Amateratsu, Tsukyomi, Izanagi, etc are produced from either the left eye, right eye, or both. Each individual eye possesses the user's chakra. So yeah they have chakra.

But how Itachi's speical chakra in the eyes are combined with Sasuke's special chakra when they was sealed away? Most of those techs are reflexes or programable techs in the eyes that just needed a power source to activate.

I think it is possible for other MS to learn Kamui or Amateratsu. Obitio just need to give Sasuke the code just like Itachi gave Sasuke the code to use Amateratsu.

It is a one time deal. Once the Sharingan is awakened it is permanent. Why do you think Madara was able to activate the Susanoo without any eyes. Once that special chakra has been built up it is a done deal.

Now you're confusing yourself. The opening question is do the Sharingan has Chakra? Not is the Sharingan is powered by Chakra! if the Sharingan has Chakra, then Madara shouldn't be able to use susanoo without the eyes. Which means The Sharingan do not have chakra, it is just a tool that awakened and powered by the speical chakra in the brain.

Powers are never sealed away because the Sharingan jutsu comes from the chakra not the eyes. Losing eyesight only means they can't use jutsu that rely on eyesight like genjutsu or Amaterasu, it has nothing to do with a seal technique.

Hold on now...Gonna have to disagree with this a bit. The way I see it is that each sharingan(tool) has codes(jutsu). It just need a power source to use them. This is why Nagato's chibaku tensei is ass compare to madara.

To further prove this theory. We know that itachi transfer amaterasu(code) into Sasuke's sharingan(tool).

This is why I think sharingan can learn all other sharingan jutsu. You just simply need the code.


The reason why rinnegan can use nearly any jutsu is because it can see any jutsu on a profound level...on a level where the code is practiclly written out for them to copy.
