⌫ History of Clan ⌦
The Hayabusa clan’s origins date back to a time before the arrival of Kaguya and the Otsutsuki clan as a simple clan of farmers. In the feudal warring period before Kaguya, the Hayabusa were a small village of mountain farmers under the rule of an oppressive warlord. The warlord often imposed harsh tithes which were paid for by the village with their prosperous crops. Despite the extortion the village still produced and hid enough to survive; it was a slightly more than meager life style. However, upon the arrival of Kaguya and her breaking the taboo of eating from the Shinju, the crop production of the Hayabusa began to show significantly less results. Kaguya’s display of power had catastrophic effects on the country the Hayabusa resided. There was so much destruction and death to the land that its fertility decreased. The village produced barely enough to meet their tithes and a famine among the village began. The elders of the clan decided that: in order to survive, the village needed to fight and free themselves. However, alone they were weak petty farmers and could barely lay a dent in their enemy’s forces. The elders sent clan members to the outside world to learn warring tactics to aid the village. Over the next generation many members of the village learned unorthodox guerrilla warfare tactics. Along with neighboring villages that they allied themselves with the Hayabusa, they began to run small operations of espionage, sabotage, and small ambushes. The Hayabusa adapted so well to this style of warfare that the trained elite forces of the warlords never realized or put the clues together leading back to the Hayabusa. Many of the Hayabusa’s allies suffered as a result and were immediately wiped out. Before the Hayabusa could be targeted, the Juubi was born and began to wreak havoc.
Kaguya’s wrath devastated several countries including the one the Hayabusa resided. A vast majority of the land mass and population was destroyed by the Jubi. However, the Hayabusa were spared from harm, and came out unscathed. The Hayabusa were saved as a result of the intervention of the Daiyokai no Ryujin, Watatsumi Sanjin (Great Spirits of the Dragon, the Three Watatsumi Dragons). These three mighty dragons were great spirits that were worshiped by the Hayabusa. The Watatsumi Sanjin belonged to a race known as the Ryujin no Yokai (Dragon Spirits). When Kaguya upset the balance of the world through eating the fruit of the Shinju, the Ryujin left the world; even then the Hayabusa never lost faith in them. During the destruction caused by Kaguya, the Sanjin returned to protect the Hayabusa and gave the Hayabusa segments of their very being. The Hayabusa not only survived but were endowed with part of the dragons’ power and knowledge. Once Kaguya was defeated by Hagoromo and Hamura the Watatsumi Sanjin left once more. The Hayabusa were among the few to survive in their country. When Hagoromo began to spread Ninshu, many of the Hayabusa left to learn more for the sake of strengthening themselves and preventing other catastrophes.
With the spread of Ninshu connecting everybody with the power of chakra, the Hayabusa came to realize the latent power that resided within only them. The combination of chakra and the segments of the Sanjin residing in them gave them a unique form of chakra. Within the Hayabusa were three pools/centers of chakra as opposed to the one. These three pools are a direct result of the each one of the Sanjin placing a piece of their being within the members of the Hayabusa clan. The clan ordained this chakra, Chakra no Ryujin (Chakra of the Dragon). Each pool grants the Hayabusa specific properties of the Sanjin as well as gives them the power of Wuji (nothingness). The Hayabusa dedicated their existence to repaying the Sanjin and learning to control their power. Over the course of centuries the shinobi of the Hayabusa remained hidden from the rest of the warring states to develop their abilities. Occasional isolated wars occurred between the Hayabusa and other clans of shinobi within their region, however even in the creation of the Five Great Nations and lesser nations of modern day the Hayabusa remained hidden. It wasn’t until three generations before the current one that the Hayabusa ascended to their peak potential and Wuji. The masters of that generation became known as the founders of the True Dragon Lineage.
The Chakra no Ryujin (Chakra of the Dragon) is the name of the Hayabusa’s chakra. It is the chakra passed down from the Hagoromo through Ninshu combined with the spiritual beings of the Watatsumi Sanjin that exist within all Hayabusa. Through this chakra, the Hayabusa gain the ability to manipulate the state of existence. The Hayabusa manipulate existence through Wuji, the progenitor of all existence. Looking purely at the nature of existence itself, everything came into existence from nothing. Wuji is that “nothing” that gave birth to “everything.” The Watatsumi Sanjin possessed the ability to manipulate the state of their existence and thus, when they embedded themselves in the Hayabusa the latter became capable of doing the same. The Hayabusa manipulate existence, either erasing or bring into existence entities, through their ninjutsu which they call Neidan. The Hayabusa also combine Neidan with taijutsu and bukijutsu in Hayabusa Kobudo. The capabilities of Neidan and how Wuji is interacted follow a set of rules based on the limitations of the Hayabusa. The most basic fundamental traits of Neidan are developed in their passive traits of Wujin and Taijin and further elaborated with actual techniques (submitted techniques). As well, due to the Watatsumi Sanjin spiritual beings residing within all Hayabusa they possess heightened spiritual beings which manifest in their resistance to spiritual damage and minor physical traits that distinguish them from other people.
Wujin (No-being): This is a passive ability within the Hayabusa clan and the first introduction to the manipulation of existence through Neidan that a Hayabusa shinobi gains. This ability is how the Hayabusa have stayed hidden from the outside world for as long as they have. This ability deals with the concealment of a Hayabusa’s existence from the means of sensory and perception. The Hayabusa manipulate their Dantian (chakra centers) in order to erase their physical essence, vital energy, and incorporeal spirit on an extra-sensory and perception level. In other words, any means of comprehension of the existence of the Hayabusa that isn’t done through the five basic senses is impossible for non-Hayabusa. This is achieved at the genin level and is passive just as the tree climbing and water walking exercises. When a Hayabusa becomes skilled enough, they can even erase themselves from the perception of the five basic senses, however, doing so requires active manipulation of the Dantian and takes one of the three moves per turn. Also, due to the fact that a Hayabusa is essentially out of the plain of existence in this form, they cannot attack an opponent or mold their chakra to use techniques until they release the wujin and once again appear in the enemies senses. The length of time and amount of times one can erase their own existence depends on the skill of the Hayabusa. Hayabusa are immune to one another’s Wujin abilities at a certain level and rank and are capable of detecting other Hayabusa members no matter where they are. This is done through Taijin.
Taijin (Supreme-being): This is the opposite of the Hayabusa’s Wujin ability which refers to their perception and conception of their own beings. This is less of a sensory technique for others and more of a self-awareness. In convention with the philosophy, Taiji would be akin to “everything” which was born from Wuji. In the sense of this passive ability, a Hayabusa makes themselves indefinitely aware of their own existence in whatever form and wherever it may be. In other words, if, for example, a portion of a Hayabusa’s existence were to be separated from them yet still existed, they would be able to tell exactly where it was located. This is done through them being aware of the physical essence, vital energy, and spirituality of their own being. This also extends to weaker members of the Hayabusa who cannot hide their presence from higher ranked members. Hayabusa are the only ones who possess the Dantian and thus members of the clan can be aware of one another’s existence. This ability only pertains to one’s own existence and that of weaker Hayabusa members and knowing of their existence. This ability does not give an indication of what exists around or what occurs around their existence. A Hayabusa will know nothing else other what pertains directly to their existence. This ability is unlocked at the genin level as well but extends only to knowing about their own existence at that level.
Spirituality: The very beings of all Hayabusa are embedded with the Watatsumi Sanjin. Due to such a power, the Hayabusa have a great deal of spiritual energy which makes them more acute and resistant to spiritual based attacks. When confronted with spiritual/mental attacks (with the exception of Yin Release and MS level), the damage and effects are reduced by half and status effects (effects that place restrictions on a victim’s capabilities) would weaken by one rank. Though, when a Hayabusa becomes more skilled they can actively resist the effects of any spiritual based techniques completely at the expense of a move (minus Yin and MS level). Note, this does not make Hayabusa passively immune in any way to techniques like genjutsu or Yamanaka techniques, merely they are more tolerant and capable of resisting mental and spiritual damage from such techniques. They still experience the sensory manipulation of illusions and must actively recognize and break free unless they have the power to resist the technique.
Wuji itself is not an entity, it is a state through which all that exists originates from and returns to upon its imminent erase. A Hayabusa’s chakra (Chakra no Ryujin) manipulates existence by intermediating between the birth from and return to Wuji. Simply put Hayabusa can manipulate the physical essence, vital energy, and spirituality of what exists and either erase it (return it to Wuji) or bring it back into existence (rebirth it from Wuji). A Hayabusa accomplishes this through their Dantian which interacts in an incorporeal sense with Wuji to affect the targeted entity. For example, to erase the physical existence of a stone, the Hayabusa would utilize the chakra from their lower Dantian to interact with the Wuji. Wuji then returns the stone to nothingness and thus the rock ceases to exist. To bring the stone into existence again the user would use the same chakra to interact with Wuji to pull the stone from Wuji (nothingness) back into the plain of existence. For energy, ethereal, and non-physical/spiritual existences, the Hayabusa would use their middle and upper Dantian respectively. The Hayabusa’s chakra is the medium by which the existence of an entity is manipulated. The style of ninjutsu that the Hayabusa use to achieve this is Neidan.
Neidan is the name of the ninjutsu that Hayabusa use to manipulate existence through Wuji. Neidan follows a series of rules that dictate what is and what is not within the power of the Hayabusa. The first rule of Neidan is in accordance with a Hayabusa’s passive abilities of Wujin and Taijin. Due to Wujin and the fact that a Hayabusa’s Dragon Chakra only interacts with Wuji (nothingness) when using Neidan, the mechanics of a technique cannot be detected by any means until their effect manifests. For example, if a Hayabusa were to erase their hand, there would be no indication of chakra build up or conceivable technique used at all. Another shinobi would only be able to tell that the hand was erased through the visual disappearance, the slight auditory distortion, and/or physically feeling that the hand itself was no longer there. There are physical signs, rather than chakra or readable extra-sensory indications that a technique was used. This rule only applies to non-Hayabusa shinobi and weaker Hayabusa. The second rule of Neidan is explains what a Hayabusa is capable of achieving with it. Once again, the Dantian of the Hayabusa control the physical essence, vital energy, and spiritual proponents of existence. A Hayabusa has greatest control over the three properties in themselves, second most toward external inanimate and/or non-sentient existences, and weakest control in other sentient life. Hayabusa can do much more with their own existence than then another’s. Typically, Hayabusa are less capable of manipulating the physical existence of other sentient life until high level of mastery is achieved and at a high cost to the Hayabusa themselves. However, manipulating their own physical existence is much easier. Likewise Hayabusa have an easier time effecting the vital and spiritual existence of other entities (submitted techniques will reflect this). The third rule of Neidan dictates the scope of its interaction within the plain of existence. Neidan techniques cannot be absorbed or sealed but because Neidan techniques manifests in the plain of existence, they can be engaged, seen and perceived clearly. Ninjutsu is, unlike Genjutsu, "real" and as such manifests itself and exists in the physical plain. Neidan is nothing else than a very advanced form of Ninjutsu. There is always a range and scope of technique whether it be a physically defined diameter or radius or simply the quantity of what is being effected. Countering Neidan is a matter of producing quantity greater than their scope and/or range like most other techniques, overpowering it with a stronger technique, etc etc. Obviously, the more skilled a Hayabusa is the more powerful their abilities become but there are still grand risks for high tier usage.
Hayabusa Kobudo
Before obtaining chakra and becoming what they are, the Hayabusa was a village of farmers turned guerrilla warfare. They learned old martial combat which taught the arts of war and killing. Prior to introduction to chakra the Hayabusa had become experts in various martial arts. In that time the Hayabusa have integrated several core weapons into their style of fighting. When they gained chakra and utilized Neidan, the Hayabusa integrated their Neidan techniques with their martial fighting style. The name for this style is Hayabusa Kobudo. Hayabusa Kobudo follows the same aforementioned rules of Neidan, however, emphasizes martial and weapons application.
The Hayabusa had always worshiped the Ryujin and Watatsumi Sanjin as patrons, even when they left. When Kaguya's destruction threatened the safety of the Hayabusa the Sanjin returned to protect them. Attested to by the Shrine Maidens of the Hayabusa clan, this was part of the gift of the Sanjin to reward the Hayabusa for their faithfulness. As a result, the Hayabusa continued to act faithfully, thoroughly keeping themselves isolated from the world that was created as a result of Kaguya and her sons. To this day they remain more or less seperate from the rest of the ninja world due to a mixture of ancestoral contempt for the world of Hagoromo and faithfulness to the Ryujin who have left the world because of its new state. While not all Hayabusa are as resentful or the rest of the world, the prejudice is still prevalent. The Hayabusa exist merely to serve to their own survival by any means necessary and paying patronage to the will of the Ryujin who gave birth to them as they exist now.
Sanjinmon (Three Gods Branch): Refer to those within the Hayabusa Village, loyal to the village and the clan structure. Also called the Dragon Lineage, those within this sect of the Hayabusa village are most trusted as they show loyalty to the clan and its leaders foremost. The leader of the clan and the masters only appoint Dragon Ninja and Head Ninja Titles (as well as other masters) to members of the Sanjinmon.
Yubokumon (Nomadic Branch): Refer to those who are part of the clan but do not claim the Hayabusa village as their home. This branch was decided upon by the current leader to allow a bit of autonomy to the clan members who sought home elsewhere. However, members of the Yubokumon are looked down upon and are not as well trusted as Sanjinmon members as they put their loyalty to others outside the clan as a whole. As well, the actions that a member of this branch takes outside the village may conflict with the interests of the rest of the clan. It is for this reason that a decree was initiated to prevent Yubokumon members from becoming too strong (will not surpass lower jounin level) and are kept from the high ranks of the village (Titles of Dragon, Head, and Master status are forbidden).
The Hayabusa follow a more or less traditional categorization for their shinobi. They are a pure shinobi clan and bare the ranks of genin, chuunin and jounin. There are special titles that one achieves after reaching Jounin status that distinguish their aptitude.
Genin: Are the lowest grade of Hayabusa. They are the novices who begin their studies in Neidan with Wujin and Taijin. A genin’s Wujin and Taijin are ineffective against members higher in rank within the clan. A genin does not have the ability to use any active applications of Neidan.
Chunin: The middle level of a Hayabusa, where one is considered an actual shinobi. At this point in their training, Hayabusa are capable of sensing genin level Hayabusa with Taijin. As well, they’ve learned how to actively manipulate their basic Neidan applications. Chunin can actively resist any spiritual technique and damage or conceal themselves from the five basic senses once per battle for a single turn (only one application per battle).
Jounin: This is where a Hayabusa is considered having completed their training and head toward mastering their Neidan. Their applications of the basic abilities double what they were as chunin. They can sense other Hayabusa with Taijin chunin rank and below. They are able to actively resist any spiritual technique and damage or conceal themselves from the five basic senses twice per battle for a single turn. Jounin can either use one application twice or each application once.
Dragon Ninja: This title is given to jounin level shinobi who have ascended beyond the standard and are more prone to combat. This is the warrior class of the Hayabusa and as such are considered the most elite of fighters next to the master ninja. Dragon Ninja are capable of sensing other Hayabusa shinobi with Taijin below master rank (including other Dragon Ninja) and are able to do what jounin are capable of doing but for two turns concurrently if the so wish. However, they can only do so once per battle for each application.
Head Ninja: This title is given to jounin level shinobi who have ascended beyond the standard level and are more prone to teaching and understand Neidan. This is the teacher class of the Hayabusa and are considered to be the most knowledgeable and skilled in Neidan application beneath the masters. Head Ninja are in charge of teaching other Hayabusa. They are capable of sensing other Hayabusa with their Taijin below master rank (including other Head Ninja and Dragon Ninja) are capable of doing what jounin level shinobi three times per battle (two of one application plus one of another or three of one application) for one turn in duration.
Master Ninja: This title is given to jounin level shinobi who undeniably the strongest members of the Hayabusa clan both in combat and Neidan knowledge and application. Dragon Ninja who become capable of not only fighting but teaching others or Head Ninja who develop their combat ability are those who ascend to master level. They are the leaders of the clan and exist to serve the clan and Grandmaster. Masters can sense all other Hayabusa aside from other masters (unless they so wish) through Taijin. As for their spiritual resistance and Wujin active application, master ninja can utilize each application three times for a span of no longer than one turn or each application twice for no longer than two turns concurrently.
There is nothing that physically distinguishes the Hayabusa clan member from any other individual on the surface. They come in all shapes, sizes, colors, and what not physically. The only trait that stands out is a physical anomaly that happens when they reach a serious level of focus, aggression, or general seriousness. When the Hayabusa's focus or seriousness intensifies their eyes will change color from whatever their natural eye color is to amber. The amber eye is the known as the Falcon's Eye, which carries their spirit. This is not dojutsu, it is merely a warning mechanism, the amber eye reflects usually aggression which would result from the Hayabusa being threatened, angered, or focus meaning they are in the zone.
The Hayabusa clan has two branches of members, the Sanjinmon and the Yubokumon; in other words members who are allied with the Hayabusa Village (no other villages/ Akatsuki) and those who are allied elsewhere but are a part of the Hayabusa clan. Only Sanjinmon members can achieve and retain higher status (jounin titles). If you ally yourself with another village/Akatsuki, etc, you cannot be within the Sanjinmon (unless exceptions are made by the Head of the Clan). This does not include belonging to another Custom Clan therefore if you are in another custom clan/have a clan bio you may still be in the Sanjinmon sect with your Hayabusa.
Samurai bios can be Hayabusa bios. While the Hayabusa is, quite literally, a shinobi clan, samurai are still allowed to participate. However Samurai can never ascend higher than Genin rank and can only use the passive abilities of the Hayabusa. Samurai manipulate chakra therefore they can use the passive chakra abilities that are not actually nin or genjutsu. A samurai part of the Samurai group may be considered Sanjinmon but if they join another actual village or group they are considered Yubokumon.
All clan bios need to be inspected upon submission by the clan leader. The condition one’s bio must possess as a Hayabusa is as follows: They must have been born into the clan and village. Members must decide which branch they are in either Sanjinmon or Yubokumon and make a story accordingly. If the latter is picked they cannot become Sanjinbon until the both leave the other group and are given permission by the masters/Head of the Clan. If a Sanjinmon member leaves the branch they will lose their privileges and ranks up to Jounin and will be subject to the same guidelines if they want to return to the sect. Bio histories must reflect what sect the member is in.
The group’s teaching’s and secrets are very precious. If anybody is caught directly betraying the clan, similar to how a Kage would deem fit in any other village, the member will be stripped of their rank and abilities and executed (their bio will be dropped).

Passive Traits & Abilities

Wujin (No-being): This is a passive ability within the Hayabusa clan and the first introduction to the manipulation of existence through Neidan that a Hayabusa shinobi gains. This ability is how the Hayabusa have stayed hidden from the outside world for as long as they have. This ability deals with the concealment of a Hayabusa’s existence from the means of sensory and perception.
⌫ Special Info ⌦
Structure |

Ranks/Titles |
Physical Traits |
⌫ Requirements ⌦
