Some people believe that the form that Naruto dons in Gaiden and the Boruto movie is not RSM.
The above two images depict the form I am talking about.
My question to those of you who believe that this is not RSM is: What form do you think it is then?
By my logic:
1. It can't be BSM (or KCSM) because both normal toad SM and BSM still retain the orange pigmentation around Naruto's eyes (even in Naruto's later years) as seen here:
and in this panel here (don't know how to post manga scans, so I'm just posting the link to the page):
This shows that Naruto didn't master SM to the point where the pigmentation just completely vanishes like some RSM non-believers like to think.
2. It can't be normal BM or KCM (without senjutsu) because the cross in Naruto's eyes shown in the second picture I posted clearly shows that some form of senjutsu is being used.
3. Also, the eyes aren't actually the only indicator of RSM vs BSM. There's also the size of the cloak. Observe the length of Naruto's cloak in this picture:
and compare it to the size of his cloak in this picture:
The lengths of the cloak look pretty similar right? They are both much shorter and less fiery/jagged on the edges of the cloak than this BM/BSM cloak:
4. The final piece of evidence comes from the 4th databook jin no sho which depicts the first image you see of Naruto on the following wiki page as RSM:
(Sorry, I couldn't find the databook itself, so I had to use the wiki page's picture.)
The fact that this picture is depicted as being RSM disproves SenseiSama's and other people's belief that RSM is only the form with 9 tomoe and the rinnegan symbol on Naruto's back.
Now here are some opposing arguments that I am anticipating:
counter 1: "The RSM design that Naruto had in the war depicts Naruto's eyes as being yellow/golden where as in the Boruto movie, his eyes are orange like with BM."
counter 2: "In RSM, Naruto's skin is not supposed to be glowing like it is in the Boruto movie."
My response to these counters: Naruto was using the power of all 9 bijuus during the war, whereas he does not seem to be doing so as an adult. Using all 9 bijuus probably produces the differences between the designs depiction during the war and during the Boruto movie. In other words, perhaps his skin only refuses to glow if he's using all 9 bijuus' chakaras, but if he's using only Kurama's chakara with RSM then it will glow. As for the eye color difference, that could just be the fault of animation. After all, we never saw a colored version of adult Naruto's mode in the manga.
counter 3: "Both Hagoromo and Madara's RSM came with the rinnegan and 9 tomoe on their backs."
My response: Both Hagoromo and Madara were also 10 tails jinchuurikis. By default they automatically already had the chakaras of all 9 bijuus due to this fact. That is why they would get the rinnegan symbol and 9 tomoe on their backs. Like I said before however, Naruto doesn't seem to be using all 9 bijuus' power in the form he shows as an adult. It is true that Hagoromo also had RSM before and after becoming a jinchuuriki, but it is also noted that Hagoromo's actual basic clothing consisted of the 9 tomoe and rinnegan symbol, so of course Hagoromo would always have it.
counter 4: "Adult Naruto hasn't used the other bijuu powers or truth seeking balls or anything reminiscent of rikudou power"
My response: This is called nerfing. It has happened to multiple characters. Heck, Sasuke hasn't used preta path or rinnegan genjutsu or chibaku tensei at times when they would have been useful (such as the time he got his face burned by Momoshiki when he probably could have absorbed the jutsu, or such as the fight against Kinshiki in the other dimension where rinnegan genjutsu might have been useful in extracting some info from Kinshiki). My point is, it is quite common for powerful characters to seemingly forget that they have huge arsenals that could easily win them the battle.
conclusion: What are you guys' responses to points 1 - 4? I will attest that adult Naruto's form has features that seem to be a mixture between RSM's features and BSM's. However, it is too distinct from BSM to be BSM (both due to the lack of pigmentation around the eyes and the length of the cloak), and the databook shows that the form with 9 tomoe and the rinnegan symbol is not necessarily the only form of RSM. Now, what do you people think adult Naruto's form is? Explain your logic, and please note my counters if you say some repetitive thing such as "RSM always has the rinnegan and 9 tomoe on the back" because I already addressed that.

. People that say the yellow comes from his bond woth the bijuu are apologetics are drawing assumptions that are not supported by the manga. If it makes them feel better Naruto uaed RSM in Gaiden due to lack of pogment around his eyes
