How does this disprove anything I said. Homophobes aren't isolated to one religion, but there are a much higher proportion of homophobic people who follow Islam compared to other religions because the Middle East never became effectively secularized.
I didn't say it did. I simply replied to you how you replied to me, by making an irrelevant fact. Yes lots of Muslims are homophobic, but so are a lot of Christians. It is not something that is tied to a specific religion. There are countries such as Uganda which have acts which allow them to lawfully kill gay people, this act was made roughly around 2014 so really recent when you think about it.
My point is that it's so recent yet that is the attitude held in this day and age, and this is from a country that is predominantly Roman Catholic.
