Even in BPL this was his first year where he has grabbed the limelight and he is already 29I'm assuming you don't follow BPL? xD
He's been doing this for West Ham in the form of some amazing free kicks, and just great plays/skill in general.

1:18 is probably my favourite, considering he scored it against one of the best goalkeepers in BPL (arguably the world?) and he makes it look so damn easy.
Both had such great chances as well. Good game overall though.Switzerland was so much better than Albania, yet they couldn't seal the deal. They almost let the victory slip away. Hopefully that happened only due to the tension of their first game in the tournament.
This was the first year he grabbed the limelight because this was his first year at West ham lmao. He joined last July...Even in BPL this was his first year where he has grabbed the limelight and he is already 29
1st year with West ham but not the first year playing futbol.....I know he used to play in Ligue 1.....This was the first year he grabbed the limelight because this was his first year at West ham lmao. He joined last July...
And he was injured for a while too.
Well after watching that game, this looks all the more plausibleMy prediction for England's Group is 1. Russia 2. England/Wales 4. Slovakia
Although I cheer for England they've been disappointing at the WC and haven't gotten much better since
Wtf, England played well while russia lucked out. England will top the group while russia will end up 3rd or 4th.Well after watching that game, this looks all the more plausible
If that's how England performs against a 3rd or 4th team, what's your guarantee they'll top the group ? I'm not calling certainties, you really can't do that with football. Sure, England was slightly better statistically but they lack proper stability. If luck carried Russia through this draw, it may well do it again. Same for England's misfortuneWtf, England played well while russia lucked out. England will top the group while russia will end up 3rd or 4th.
You are acting like England played shit when in reality they played decent football. It was the first game, most teams in the euros and the world cup struggle to score in their first match just look at France who are the favourites to win the Euros. England had their chances they just need to find the finishing touch, while russia was completely underwhemling. If that's how England performs against a 3rd or 4th team, what's your guarantee they'll top the group ? England has a recent history of choking at critical moments. I've been all eyes on them during their short WC campaign in 2014, as well as in 2010 with that cringeworthy disallowed goal of Lampard's, and I ended up heartbroken in both cases. Not meaning to burst your bubble, like I said I'm rooting for England and if Romania wasn't in this, they'd probably be the only ones I'd watch. But we gotta stay true to the odds.
Yes they played decently. I didn't deny that but decency never secures top spot, if anything it leaves room for "accidents" like that '92 goal today. Or that '85 goal from Uruguay that pretty much kicked them out of the last WC. I'm not taking anything away from England, I'm just saying "decent" might not be enough in that particular group. Or they might just do fine, like I said I'm not employing certainty. No need to get offended. You are acting like England played shit when in reality they played decent football. If you think England didn't progress forward since the wc you are clearly blind. We are the only country that didn't lose in the qualification that speaks for itself.
Not really sure which match you watched, but there is little doubt that Swiss was better than Albania. The Swiss indeed did not take advantage of their number superiority and Albania missed two almost guaranteed goals, but the Swiss had around 4 of those. For some reason the aim of the strikers seems to be rather off in this tournament, but for the same money Albania could have lost 3 or 4 - 0. Albania also played way to aggressive. They seemed to be more interested in the whole situation of having people from Albanian and Swiss origin in the opposing teams rather than playing football. In particular the way how the red card was conceded can only be described as plain stupidity. What a shit way to lose to the Swiss an early poorly conceded goal and a stupid red card took us out of the tie, we were so much better than them despite being with 10 players on the pitch in the second half and if our strikers could have taken the chances we could have pulled at least a draw even with 10 men, I'm kinda angry that nothing went our way despite being the better side.
England bottling their chances like always nothing new really.
Also there is some nasty fighting going on between the Russians and English.
