So, an article covering "suicide-by-cop" and suicide rates, as well as rates of mental illness in those killed is your backing point? Fair enough. For those instances, yeah let's say that race doesn't matter. But for those with no mental illness, or for those not engaging in "violent mentally ill behavior" what do you say?

Edit: blacks account for 13% of the population, but are 25-30% of those killed by cops. Does that not prove the point that they are more often targeted? I understand that it also states that they account for 40% of cop killers, which brings up another point. Blacks realize they are being targeted, so in similar circumstances, a white man is less likely to kill or be killed. Blacks know they are being targeted, act accordingly, thus increasing the chances they will be targeted again in the future. So a movement designed to shed light on these issues, and bring about changes is a problem why?

Black on black crime is a problem but when police kill unarmed black people that is a bigger problem because they're an authoritative figure that never gets checked. BLM was made for cases such as Tamir Rice who was killed after 2 seconds of the cops of arrival. Tohse cops have no excuses for killing this 12 year old child yet they didn't even get indicted. So black on black crime is an issue but when the people that are supposed to help the black community overcome this issue just worsen the situation that is what causes an outcry.

When they actually kill people unjustifiably they go to jail(see the Charleston South Carolina case)


In the example you provided the caller said a black "man" was walking around threatening people with a gun. Needless to say, they were on high alert.


What happens if they hesitate and it's a real gun? Now he kills the cops and you never even hear about this story. How could they have possibly known the gun wasn't real?
