They should have sensei to guide them and teach them ..

we all know that

Sasuke's sensei in konoha is kakashi ..
Konohamaru's sensei is ebusui ..
Neji's sensei is gai..
Shikamaru's sensei is asuma ..
Hinata sensei's is kurenai , etc ...

The gap between sensei and his students are 14 years ..
Kakashi is 30 while naruto for example is 16 ..

I did some research about it ..
I would say that itachi sensei was aoba yamashiro ..

He's one of konoha jounin and he's 34 years old and itachi was 20~21 when he died.
Maybe his relationship with itachi wasn't strong like asuma and shikamaru but Why he asked about itachi when kakashi was in konoha hospital.

Because he is itachi's sensei and he cares however Itachi without doubt learn these jutsu from him ..

Itachi was self-taught at age 7 as mention by the Third Hokage Hurizen and benefited from the teachers at the Academy as stated by the Teacher in Sasuke's flashback. He was also taught by Shisui. And Obito was his mentor once he left the village.

Fugaku uchiha is his father Not sensei.

after he graduated from academy, konoha supposed to sign him in team of 3 genin and 1 jounin so they can go for mission .

Kurenai is Hinata's sensei but her father haishi wasn't her sensei.

Their father might teach them jutsu but they are not their sensei.

Nah Shisui was a Jonin sensei while Itachi was a kid :| they were friends we know that

So the different in age between shisui and itachi is same as different between naruto and Konohamaru.
