Dont wanna spoil anyones fun, but I think Bradman is the 4th guest. Why you ask? Because Hiro is trolling with chapter titles. He just wanna have the numbers but the title isnt anything significant to chapters. Now why is Bradman the 4th guest? Well I predict Gajeel saying 'You will be my 4th guest' in bcoz he will try to crucify Bradman and his 1st 3 guests were levy, jet, and droy. I am pretty confident in this theory.

Gajeel just said that crucifying Levi is his worst memory, so that he starts counting them like it's something special, is rather contradictory and how are they guests in any way? It could be referencing to additional people, just like Mest, following Natsu etc. Exactly because Hiro seems to be taking rather superficial and on the spot meanings for the numbers, it can be almost anything. I doubt though that it's to count the amount of people Gajeel crucified.

My point was that Hiro most of the time switches regularly within one chapter to other locations and characters and thus the title doesn't automatically have to refer to anything related to Bradman vs Gajeel. It's very well possible 90% of the next chapter is about the fight, but that the remaining 10% is related to the title.

I read something interesting though on Reddit, someone dropped the idea that the "guests" refer to the prisoners of war and thus in a certain way are "guests" at the guild. Well I already had been thinking in the same direction and I also said last week I found it strange that Dimaria appeared again and she's held prisoner at the guild. The issue then of course is then that you only have Brandish and Dimaria as POW, which doesn't really match as there has to be a third, but then I realized they also captured Marin (this was what the people on Reddit forgot).

So my guess is that they captured another one of the Spriggan. I think we can rule out Whal Icht (because he's in shambles) and Azir (because he hasn't appeared for a long time now), so that leaves Jacob and Neinhart and I would go for the latter one as despite the fact that Erza has fought and met several Spriggans by now, the only one who made the connection between Irene and her is Neinhart. So it could be possible that they captured Neinhart and that the spills the beans to the guild about Erza's heritage and that then the scene goes back to the fight between Bradman and Gajeel (or vice versa).

The problem is that the only way you can get three earlier guests is if you start subjectively interpreting things. Does Brandish count because she did not invade the guild, but Lucy's home? Does Marin count because he isn't a Spriggan? Do the unwanted guests have to be from Alvarez? As for example I see it happen that Acnologia appears at the guild. The largest concentrations of DS are at the guild and in the north, so if he is hunting them, it would be a matter of time before he goes there.

I think you are getting too much into the title. I think its gonna be something simple like the thing I mentioned or something like you said which wont do much for the chapter. The chapter is gonna have 70-80 % gajeel vs Bradman imo. I will be glad if I am wrong though.

Of course I'm getting too much into this .-. I'm always getting too much into the titles as they're often misleading and/or shallow, that's what makes it so fun, especially now that there's very clearly a countdown. I wouldn't call Gajeel counting the amount of people he crucified and calling them guests, simple.

490th will be the one you should be pouring all your theories on, bcoz thats when something big is gonna happen. Personally I think it could be something from Bradman too like Gajeel could be the 4th guest in some manner.

Or it maybe somthing like a big setup chapter. Its probably gonna be a special chapter of 25+ pages so it might set up a lot of events in one big chapter.

I don't think about Erza-Irene scenario. Irene was introduced just a few chapters ago. And like Caliburn said I honestly don't see why that needs a countdown. And also Erza is currently in Hargeon Port now. And Irene is in North. Them meeting this early is highly unlikely. First someone needs to tell both Irene and Erza that either of their relative is alive. The only person who knew that(as of manga) Neinhart is drowned in water. So, no one knew about Erza-Irene for either them to go and meet and each other.

Maybe it is something about Fairy Heart being released. Maybe it is something about August. There are many things to happen as for how Mashima sensei sees it fit. Honestly I want it to be Gildarts or Mystogan. It's been so long for both.

Yeah. I doubt END will be shown this early. Seeing how the events are going on now.....My bet is on Mavis to appear. But since it is a countdown then it should be about someone/something that everyone is waiting for. If that is the case then I can only think of two people at the moment. Gildarts and Mystogan. Gildarts mostly!. Because he is ace of FT and left the manga years ago. Unless Gildarts lost a contract with Mashima, he might appear. Fans are waiting for him to appear for so long. Hence the countdown. I hope so.

Mashima sure changed the pre-planned plot as he see fit when drawing 'that' particular chapter for 'that' particular week. No wonder Spriggan 12's design has been changed this much....smh.

Seems like pairings stuff has reached Mashima now!. I honestly don't care about all of those shippers. I only respect their views but I honestly don't see why there is a need for them to quarrelling. I think it is all about whose ship is better and why not!. To each their own ship. I think it would be better if everyone respect each other. It is sad to see Mashima tweeting for all the shippers to stop quarrelling. Also Jerza fans are quite angry for how their ship has been treated so far. Kagura's kiss(okay CPR) only made it worse.
