filler and Canon

You have to understand the word's canon and filler apply only to manga readers (and kishi zealots). The concept does not hold any merit to anime only viewers.So if one wants to discuss anime content, talk to anime watchers cause to manga readers most of that stuff is filler and they'll treat it as such

Another hypocrisy is that members will accept any filler which augments itachi/madara's power but will flat out deny fillers for other characters.

Canon by law is any thing Kishi says is canon Manga,books,anime,movies sines Kishi is creator only He determines what is and is not canon. No one else need apply unless they buy the rights from Kishi or have Kishi given them the right to do so. The same applies for all other writhers and Artist.

Thats true.

But some filler can be canon too.

This type of filler actually showing something/scene that manga never shown the panel but manga tells us it actually happen.

Example: Frieza destroying planet Vegeta and wipe out all Saiyan.

Frieza or Vegeta many times told us about Planet Vegeta destruction.

In manga there is no panel showing how Frieza blown up Planet Vegeta.

Manga never shown it but anime cover it.

Imo any origins story is canon, Kaguya's background and Itachi's childhood are canon because they explain how the characters ended up being what we see in the manga without contradicting Kishi's plot

No one was asking for Kaguya backstory after the manga ended though, and no one definitely wanted it in the form of garbage ass filler.

Kishi never had time to make Kaguya's origins story so SP are doing it for him.
