They are company that has LAW OF AUTHORIZED to distribute NARUTO, so yes it still fall under the canon wise, but since we are all loyal to Kishi and he is the one who gave SP the idea to make the anime.
The only cannon is the episodes that SP makes following the exact plot line, not additional stories. Learn the difference Why are you dragging Kishi in this, he is done with Naruto, he couldn't give a damn for what SP does with his story. He is living the life while SP is sucking his **** and makes shitty fillers.

Anime has their own originality story so as long as we stick with the anime and ignore Kishi garbage manga = Canon. Which mean that everything in Anime is canon.

I greatly prefer the Kaguya filler. At least that is new content (be it canon or not). It's better than some washed up story that has been repeated over and over!
I seriously do not want to hear another thing about Itachi and his story from the NV! We get it already! Itachi was traumatized by war and became pacifist. Danzo and the elders discriminated against the Uchiha. The Uchiha planned a coup. Itachi acted as a double agent for the Uchiha and the village. Shisui tried to use KA on Fugaku, but Danzo stole his right eye, and then Shisui committed suicide, thus awakening Itachi's MS. Itachi agreed to Danzo's bargain of slaughtering the Uchiha with the reward of being able to spare only Sasuke. Itachi meets with Obito. Uchiha massacre happens. Etc... Etc...
The above story has been told to us 1000 times! It's old and done! I'm glad we're on something new!
Kaguya was a lame ass villain since the beginning and simply by adding a 5 week filler series doesn't justify her character at all. She as introduced to the plot very late and honestly SP should wrap these garbage fillers up, Didn't we recently get fillers for a long period of time. 2015 had only 8 cannon episodes and the people who were complaining then aren't complaining now.
These ain't true fans at all. Those are the fake ones, true guys stick to what they believe and yes the Itachi fillers were good because before Itachi's death we barely knew anything about his childhood. Kishi did an ok job of explaining Itachi's past but SP did a glorious job on it, something I will give them credit for. Itachi is the root to this manga and Tobi but SP needed to expand upon Itachi besides he served as a pipeline to the plot and had a very close tie with Naruto and gang.
Itachi's past was something to know about because the way he was written in this manga and developed was beautful. He was truly one of those mysterious characters and Kishi didn't get time to cover the baseline of his story so any Itachi filler always adds a thing to his personality and character.
Who cares about Kaguya? A power freak who can't even talk or express herself. The Oosutsuki's were always lame, just power and conquer that's all they have in their vocabulary. Itachi he has genuine compassion and knows how to be a badass.
The more the details Kishi through SP provides about Itachi the more hyped his fans would be for. They are the true fillers that matter.
