I'm in agreement with SenseiSama here. It not that Sasuke can't fly without Susanoo, I believe it's just his preferred method. Like why fly in the middle of a battle all vulnerable when you can clad yourself in a chakra armor with wings and let it do the flying for you? :sdo:

And Pain did not propel himself in the air with Shinra tensei, Tobious Uchiha. Pain actually Flew/levatated up. Remained in the air, extended his arms then Performed almighty push on the entire village before returning the ground.

Deva path is basically gravity control/release so it stands to reason Sasuke can levitate/fly same as Naruto but to keep them from being too similar in their Rikudo Feats, Kishi had Sasuke use his Susanoo instead...at least...that's my theory anyway.

No even if he couldn't adapt he could have still been levitating at the very least. It was due to the speed at which he attacked Kaguya and failed which caused the off balance. How hard is it to levitate? Its not even very taxing when it comes to chakra drainage.

He doesn't need to move in fluid motion for it to be considered flying, as long as he can stay mid air and move forward it's considered flying. PS helps him fly better, but he can still fly with Deva

I never denied he couldn't fly with Deva lol since Sasuke has already demonstrated Deva Path feats and has a Rinnegan, I was simply stating how Sasuke could have been levitating despite taking the damage from Kaguya's blow. He lost his PS for the time being so at least he could have levitated. I don't see how inexperience can cause him to rely on a TSB foothold instead of levitating for himself. Inexperience isn't the answer/excuse to doing basic things with the Rinnegan such as levitating.

I think he is still looked down upon in the Sasuke fanbase which is why he might not be accepted by the leader. The leader wants exceptional Sasuke threads not casual ones that reiterate what happened over 300 chapters ago. Every fanbase has those trolls that are cast aside tbh.
