As it stands, Hagoromo has never even encountered a Genjutsu(Since he existed before Genjutsu was created) And thus has never trained and has no knowledge in Genjutsu. His strength doesn't matter, or Chakra Capacity.

Yes you need the Uchiha KKG But that isnt it. It still takes Training. Otherwise Every Uchiha would be immune to Genjutsu. Uchiha KKG is just a piece of the puzzle.

Naruto doesn't have "genjutsu immunity" he has a beast inside of him that can break him out of genjutsu.

Infinite Tsukuyomi can be broken otherwise everyone would still be in it. Naruto and Sasuke got them out remember? HAGO gave them the power to break it.

Itachi had the knowledge of a Kage at 7(This was mentioned by a Kage that knew Tobirama, Hashiram and Minato so obviously it isn't an exaggeration). Chances are he knew of Hagoromo or at least stories there of.
