You're right. It was my mistake getting him worked up, when all I should have expected in the first place were a string of insults and incoherent sentences. I'm dropping the matter, like you said, until one of the manga chapters finally clarifies the matter. Until then, no more arguing; I admit my fault for getting annoyed, hopefully he will be able to do the same.
when minato died, instead of chosing a new Hokage, the 3rd was voted to step as hokage once more. Since he was known as the 3rd, he wasn't going to be known as the 3rd/5th hokage. lol So, yes, he was chosen AGAIN after minato died. that's what I was trying to say.
he was inactive and was forced to go back into holding active hokage title when minato died.he wasn't chosen as anything.if you note the other villages have inactive kage as well if you check the kage summit arc.it's a common thing to have two kage at a time when one retires and picks a successor

Dude Minato was the 4th Hokage the 3rd retired and Minato took over but when Minato died Sarutobi again took charge. Minato was already the Hokage

The way I saw it, they chose not to ellect a new one, but to let Sarutobi back on the spot. But it's up for interpretation. It's just a way of seing things. When they were going to choose Kakashi, a lot of people had to vote, both from konoha and from the fire country. I just assumed that when minato died, the same thing happened, but instead of picking a new one, they chose to let Sarutobi back on the spot. That's what I assumed anyway. But it's just an interpretation... :S

I think Naruto will not go for revenge cause when he was fighting Pain he realized that he was making a mistake just like Sasuke so he forgive Pain for killing Jiraiya though I found it really annoying at the beginning but it resulted in the resurrection of all those who were dead in Konoha. So after learning all about the past Naruto may become enrage but he will calm down and will only fight Madara to save the ninja world
Dude I know what you are saying but the thing is Naruto is the main character of the manga, hell the manga's name is Naruto so people don't mind if we are seeing tooo much of Naruto. I know other characters are also important but Naruto is the most important so seeing much of him in just fine, I think compared to other mangas and animes we have seen quite a lot of other characters mainly Sasuke.
