That's only when Kurama lends Naruto his chakra to make it easier for Naruto to manipulate to give to the Shinobi Alliance.

Aside from that, BM is a combination of his own Base Chakras (Yellow) + Kurama's Chakra (Red) which creates Bijuu Mode (Orange). I wasn't sure if that was the point OP was making or if he was making another point, but BM being equivalent to both Naruto and Kurama's chakra should be something we all know.

I agree with that notion. I was just trying to explain the point that the OP might've been making.

But you're right, KCM is orange and I don't think he was using his own chakra as Naruto uses Kurama's chakra in exchange for his chakra to be absorbed by Kurama.

Kyuubi influenced Naruto = red or orange chakra. Naruto steals the chakra and has yellow or pure chakra.

Yeah, I'd like to think orange was simply chosen as that's Naruto's primary color and is associated with it. Kishimoto even had Naruto state," That he's the Leaf's Orange" and that even makes sense considering he's by the by product of Kushina (Red) and Minato (Yellow), so I suppose his KCM/BM is simply an embodiment of who Naruto really is.
