The only thing about Eileen possibly being Erza's mom is that.

So far we have seen nothing but dads introduced for fairy tail, as far as I recall.

Not sure if I've forgot any but so far it's been male based family for fairy tail members. Which strikes questions about how Erza really ended up as a slave. Maybe she got lost at sea? Her dad must be a total badass if this Eileen is her mom.

So in all the plot it's likely her sister that is Eileen. For one her mom would be around the age that Lucy's dad is or even lets go with gildarts age. She looks like she is 25 or so it's likely not her mom. If it is she looks good for 40 or 50

Lucy's mother was important, as was practically any female ancestor of her all the way back to Anna. Makarov's mother also has been introduced, though briefly. Cana's mom was mentioned by name. Well then you also have Happy's parents and Charle's mother of course and that's all I can recall atm.

And it has already explained how Erza became a slave. She was abducted from Rosemary Village, where she lived, alongside many other people from her and other villages when she was still little during the child hunts held by the Cult of Zeref. So the question is how she ended up in that village in the first place, not how she became a slave as we already know that.

Still going for that Eileen's Erza's mom though. That she doesn't like she's old enough isn't really important, neither in the real world and especially not in a manga series.

His name is Inber/Invel and he has been Zeref all this time.

All these memories weren't spontaneously spawned, it's part of Neinhart's magic to look into people's historia's and then select the persons who he deems to be the most suitable or interesting for the situation. Gray and Lyon were fighting together and both share a connection with Ur, while Silver only has a connection with Gray and Gray already fought and beat the real Silver, so a fake one would be rather useless as neither Lyon nor Gray would have any issues dealing with him. Ur on the other hand is a completely different matter, in particular for Lyon, so she was by far the most ideal opponent.

The psychological aspect is as much important as the physical one for Neinhart's magic, in fact it might even be more important as this magic has quite the inherent flaw. It's based on the memories people have of persons that have long perished. Asuma and Ikaruga got beaten over 8 years ago, so Erza's memories of them are based on a version she was able to beat back then and since that time she has gotten stronger. The main reason as why Erza got beaten so badly by them this time, is because they ganged up on her and that she was already injured from her earlier battles. Hypothetically if someone was at full health and then a fake version of someone he beat a decade ago pops up, who do you think would have the physical advantage? Hence the importance of the psychological aspect as shown by Jellal's hesitation this chapter at striking at Simon. Jellal is far superior than Simon regardless of the situation, but he does carry an enormous sense of guilt towards him. And what would Neinhart do in the hypothetical case he is fighting someone who does not have memories of powerful people that died?

And the only magic that really was OP, was Dimaria's. Dimension-based magic can be countered by other dimension-based magic, as shown, and those were not real dead people, those were fakes. Brandish then never got defeated in a real battle. So stop with the whole plot armor thing as it's even more stupid than everything people keep using it for. It's a fictional story, it's not a plot armor, it's the plot itself. That seriously has become the standard for people when they don't know anything to say: it's plot armor =/

Well as I said before I originally thought there was a personal connection between Erza's parentage and Neinhart because of the way he reacted last chapter. However as I explained that's not really the case anymore as we have now more info on the matter, namely that Eileen is even amongst the Spriggans considered one of the top members. Neinhart is a night, so that he referred to her as "lady" is rather common, but that counts even more so when you consider she's supposed to be higher than him. So I think now that Neinhart's is just the result of the both of them being Spriggan rather than being personally connected. IMO it would be quite the buzzkill if Neinhart would be Elieen's apprentice or something. My first impression of her is also not someone who would accept someone like Neinhart.

What's also interesting is the title of the next chapter: the monstrous six. I wonder if that would refer to the remaining Spriggan? There are still 5 remaining if you don't count Brandish, so it doesn't fit that well, however that depends on how you view it. If it indeed refers to the remaining Spriggan, well you practically have a 3-layered structure of their group: the "lesser" 6, the "monstrous" 6 and the latter includes the strongest male and female mage. Currently there is still one completely unknown Spriggan; August, the strongest male; Eileen, the strongest female; Imber, Zeref's right hand so assuming he's a cut above the rest is acceptable; and Bradman, who seems to have single-handedly beaten Saber and Pegasus.

Now for the 6th member, well that depends. It's possible that one might have already been beaten like Serena or that it's Brandish. The reality is that most of the Spriggan that have been beaten so far had powerful magic, but still the only one I truly found terrifying was Dimaria. Of Jacob, Azir, Neinhart and Wahl some had more interesting abilities than others, but in the end I could see them as being "lesser" than people like August and Imber.



Yeah Neinhart was a bummer, though I don't really see how he had much buildup and certainly not how he was hyped the most after August. He was only mentioned twice. The first time in Alvarez where they were summoned for a meeting, one he didn't attend and he was not the only one. In fact around 1/3 of the Spriggans weren't there and the 2nd time was when his silhouette was shown. I was also expecting something very differently when I saw that silhouette, but in the end you shouldn't pull this out of proportion. Azir, Dimaria, Brandish, August, Eileen, Serena, Wahl and Inber seems to have had much more buildup/screen time than Neinhart. At this point I only rate Jacob lower than Neinhart in that regard. I would be far more disappointed if Serena indeed would already be out of the picture or that the remaining unknown Spriggan would be dealt with as swiftly as with Jacob and Neinhart as I expect something special of the last one.

Actually Ninehart was present in the castle but didnt come.The other spriggans were not anywhere near the castle.Ninehart was also the last spriggan in south, and generally the last ones are the strongest.He was also shown in his silhouette 2 times which led people to believe that he is either Simon or he is one of the important spriggans.We saw simon but Ninehart was nothing special.It felt like all of his buildup and hype transferred to Lady Eleen.

Jellal Soloed ninehearts sorry ass with a gigantic grand chariot. Eileens also seems to be erzas elder sisiter.

I expected a new spell from Jellal but this looks like a refined version of Grand Chariot. Still looks good tho. Honourable mention is Jellal didn't used his Sema yet. And here I am still waiting for the hyped up Abyss Break. It's been sooooo long. I wonder did Mashima forgot?!. This doesn't look like a fight to me. More like Jellal punishing him. lol. I wonder why did Mashima introduced Jellal in the South rather than bring him to West where he can fight Zeref for which he is training and waiting for all these 8 years.

This was a fun chapter.Although I have a little complain.Ninehart's buildup was a waste imo.This guy disobeyed Zeref and was shown 2 times in a badass silhouette.And then he called Dimaria and Wahl as pathetic.He had the most hype after August as character.I dont know if Hiro changed his mind or he just wanted to hype Jellal, but Ninehart was not worth the buildup.Wahl and Dimaria are more dangerous than Ninehart.
Apart from that I loved Jellal this chapter.His magic is badass and the fight shows he is above spriggans, which is good bcoz this guy targets Zeref.You cant target Zeref if you are not stronger than his henchmen.
As for Eleen, I am pretty sure her along with August are gonna kick the most ass from Spriggan side.Unless you count Bradman crucification few chapter back

Yep. Jellal is pretty strong. Would have liked if he went onto fight against Zeref rather than in south and defeating Neinhart. That would have been Kagura's case. It is more like Jellal has been in south to clear up all the commotion between Kagura-Jellal-Simon and for Erza build-up. Mashima changed the setting of Neinhart.

We knew Mashima hints a lot about way earlier but somehow don't write how he foreshadows them. That is because Mashima changes his script as he drew each chapter. He himself said that he discarded many ideas, foreshadows he did in the manga as he write individual chapter each week. He changes his mind. He mentioned that in Afterwords section of Volume Books and even in some other interview. So, I get it that he changed the initial design of Neinhart's character.

Was it only me or does anyone think that the last unknown spriggan might be Jose Porla. That would mean a lot to Gajeel Redfox and would add a lot to his character.

And also what is August's surname?. It hasn't been revealed yet, right?. August Clive?!. xD.

hmmm.....regarding the next chapter.....Six Monsters......

If we count only Spriggans then excluding Brandish only 5 of them. But with Brandish it makes 6 monsters.

Or if we count All Spriggans and FT members then......August, Irene should be given in the list. So who would be other 4?. Maybe Inbel, Natsu, Unknown Spriggan Bradman & God Serena. Still there is Jellal, Laxus to mention. Or Gildarts comesback finally!.

An OK chapter for me.......i like the fact that we are looking into the history of characters but i actually don't see how Erza's personal history has got any relation to the main story......from the way things stand if this keeps on I think the rumors surrounding Hiro picking up a new project and fairy tail ending at chapter 600 will surely be quashed.....on the chapter it was interesting in some aspects....I would have actually wanted to see Jellal fight a bit more.....he struggled against Jura in GMG but he wasn't fighting at full there but compared to that one shotting a spriggan 12 seems a bit haxed........but it is certainly expected of him since he was a wizard saint....right now the relative power levels of FT members are really confusing or lopsided to say the least....but looking forward to "The monstrous Six" it seems the hype is increasing and increasing however I would like to see what Acnologia is upto. Last we checked we got a dead God serena..Jacob reached FT and August is waiting it means he certainly has moved somewhere else but where exactly thats the question..i really wanna move on to the good fights and not just BS with Nakama powerups or asspulls...

I know he was present, but there really isn't much difference in being in the castle, but not attending and not being there at all. And that he was the last in the South is rather a mute point when there are 12 Spriggans in all directions. The works when we're talking about the final Spriggan, but not really when they are divided into small groups.

So in terms of buildup there really wasn't that particular much, especially not compared to many other Spriggan.

The last spriggan is Bloodman.

The belly scar just got me interested.I just thought its same as Erza's injury in the current fight.The scar is definitely the interesting part other than of course her tits and thighs(God help me, dem thighs):bdpf:.
Her hands also dont look human,looks pretty demonic but I dont think Erza is a demon.

I dont think Azir is gonna come back. But with monster 6 as title next chapter God Serena might come back. Either that or Ninrhart shows up. The one defeated might be a proxy and the real ninehart is the one whose silhouette we saw. Or it could just refer to Brandish.I wont count Zeref as a possible monster bcoz while he is really powerful , I dont think he is gonna be associated with his henchmen.
Or there are other possibilities like Oracion Seis appearing or the North reinforcements will be called 6 monsters?

Does anyone think Eleen is future Erza? Her belly scar could have been the result of her current fight with ninehart. Kyouka whipped her in the belly. Although it does soundsa bit far fetched.

Ajeel hasn't shown to be dead or defeated like landing on the floor or drowning on the water. Kinda like that. So....I still hope. Either Ajeel is an arrogant Spriggan who hypes himself or Weakling among the group if he don't show up again.

Yeah. Those six members of OS are another possibility.

Nope. I am believe she is Erza from alternate Time which is formed due to some time paradox or some nonsense!. Or Irene might be a Great Granddaughter of Erza Berselion.

For the love of everything that's sacred, anything but that being Erza from the future. By default I'm not very keen on time-travelling stuff and we've already had or fair share of it during the GMG. It doesn't seem to make much sense either.

Mashima loves Time Travel in the manga it seems. The plot is a time-travel if we look back. Yea. I am against to this Future Erza stuff. But this became a topic of discussion in tumblr.

The belly scar just got me interested.I just thought its same as Erza's injury in the current fight.The scar is definitely the interesting part other than of course her tits and thighs(God help me, dem thighs):bdpf:.
